If only I could give six stars. I’ve been a Grand Rapids resident for over a decade. I’ve seen many short-lived donut places pop up, and I’ve gone to most of them. No place I’ve been has ever remotely compared to Marge’s. Best donuts. Best service. Best prices.

This is a cozy place, and the donuts are fantastic. Staff are all knowledgeable and happy to help even in the early morning hours. Last time I went in, i wanted a dozen donuts for a group, but had no idea what to get for them, and the employee helping me said "Let me take care of it, I got you" and proceeded to get a collection of 12 donuts that all made sense. Any morning that I don't have to make a decision is a good morning by me! Marge also is a fantastic person. Back when I was in college, she agreed to have a meeting about a website project I and a team of students were working on based on local businesses, and she made us leave with a full box of donuts free of charge. Highly recommend giving this place a shot if you are looking for some donuts in the area!

Picked up a Birthday cake and a dozen sugar cookies. Both were excellent! Would highly recommend Marges!

Best donut shop around hands down! This morning me and my niece went out to find donuts and the first place we went to was already completely sold out of donuts by 9 am! Which is absurd in itself! With our hopes already high we went to good old Marges and they had all the donuts we could have hoped for and they were still in the process of making fresh donuts for the day. The donuts were absolutely delicious and the staff was phenomenal and so friendly!

Great staff; polite and helpful. The cookies were good, donuts were great, and brownies were delicious. Highly recommend stopping in to try Marge's.

After all of these years, they are still the best place for donuts! Regular price (not outlandishly priced like all of the new places) for outstanding treats! I went as a child and still love Marge's today. Stellar customer service (they even added a maple glaze to a few cinnamon donuts when I asked if they had any and they didn't)!!

They sure know their way around a donut. Maple bacon is the best but sells out early. Glazed old fashioned a close second. My partner likes the fruit filled. Our favorite donuts in GR we get them almost every weekend :)

Polite staff, or very nice, of course. Food is very fresh and has many flavors or styles to choose from, like chocolate, glazed, nuts, or anything else. Atmosphere matching an old-fashioned donut store back in the day. Even when it's busy, it's worth it. 👏

THEY BROKE MY 1 YEAR NO DONUT STREAK!!!! I used to work behind the shop 20 years ago and loved the smells from the cooking donuts in the morning. So when I was in town I decided to stop by and it was nice to see Marge's shop had expanded and doing so well. The donuts smelled and looked amazing and of course tasted like heaven. I am glad I live in WI or I would struggle not to be here every day. Thanks for the amazing donuts and all the charity work you do for others.

Amazing! Donuts were fresh, soft and delicious! Some of my fondest memories as a kid were of getting donuts when my grandma worked in a donut shop. That smell brought so many wonderful memories back. Cannot wait to go back for some more!
