We enjoy going here when we go to Hanover Theater. The drinks and food are good, although a little overpriced. We accept the prices in exchange that it is very close to the theater. The reason for the 4-star review is that they do not open all time at 6 pm. We went to the Hanover Theater on April 1st for the Donna Summer show. We parked at the federal garage around 6:30 pm. We planned on visiting this place for drinks. They were closed with not a soul in sight. We ended up going somewhere else. Just disappointed that they are not consistent with opening time.

Great bar you need to check out if you're looking for something to do in Worcester. They have a great selection of whiskey's including Bourbons Ryes, Scotches, and even Japanese whiskey. Atmosphere was great, the bartender was very attentive and helpful. I will be back.

Sat for 20 mins and was ignored, got up and left. Place was virtually empty, only about 5 other tables with 2 servers and 2 bartenders working. The 2 servers walked by our table multiple times each, tending to the other guests, wiping down tables and focusing on their sidework. I must smell repulsive or something 😕 I won’t take it personally. Menu is pretty small for food, so if you’re coming here to eat think light noshing. Incredible whiskey menu, I’m genuinely disappointed I didn’t get the chance to get a glass, offering 1, 1.5 & 2 oz pours

The BEST place you can go for authentic fresh food and drinks. The hospitality is amazing and i’ve never felt so comfortable at a place before. I will be coming back!!!

We were completely ignored after the waitress dropped off our water. Waitresses were more concerned with drying silverware and clearing and cleaning the table next to us than in taking our order.
Saw a LOT of standing around, too. After 25 minutes of waiting to be waited on, we left. Won’t be back.

A must-go-to bar! Come for the out of this world food and large variety of tasty cocktails and rotating craft beer...stay for the music and lovely conversations with the staff. Literally the best Prime Rib sandwich I've ever eaten, and amazing meat and cheese boards too.

Another great night at The Muse! When you walk in, the owner and bartenders always greet you warmly and remember who you are if you’ve been before! The cocktails are always phenomenal, The New England Mule is it die for! And the hummus platter is delicious! My go to place for a fun night out in Worcester!

Still can't believe how much salt was on the Caprese Salad and Crostini and Ricotta. Ridiculous. Couldn't even eat it. Would've sent it back but the waitress never stayed at our table long enough for me to tell her about the food. She came by to see if we wanted another drink and when I started to tell her about our food she just kept walking away. First and last visit to this place! Terrible!

Went to THe Muse last night before Hanover. What a great surprise.
Drinks I've never heard of. We went with the bartender's recommendation and we each tried a different one. Excellent.
We also tried the toasted focaccia with ricotta -- to die for.
Highly recommend.

My sister and I had a fantastic night cap here. The bartender was friendly and informative. Great drink menu, now I have an excuse to come back. PS they have a huge jar of coffee beans (Acoustic Java!) with a grinder- so I see a coffee martini in my very near future!!!

Solid collection of local craft and imports. Found The Muse on the Untappd app while visiting Mass. Only place to offer my all-time favorite Kolsch Fruh. Kudos to the owner John for going way above & beyond when he didn't need to. Stop reading and go get a drink at The Muse!

Visited with high hopes, but alas was not impressed. $12 for old fashioneds with no ice (was even told that the bartender made fun of customers who asked for ice), $$30 for a one oz pour of old rip, and was asked to move our jackets off of our table when there was no one else around. The ambiance was also lacking. We went down the street to Dead Horse Hill for proper old fashioneds at $8 each.

The place was PACKED the night I stopped by- I was i stopping for a drink before seeing a show at the Hanover Theater. There were 3 people tending the bar- it was hard to get one of their attention, but like I said , it was packed. They have an excellent craft beer & cider selection. Although I got 4 Roses (bourbon)& coke and it was perfect.
Feel the need to mention because sometimes it's the little things: square ice cubes just pleased me... Reminded me of a Bar I went to in Nashville TN
