Review Craft Table And Bar - Worcester

I visited this place about a week ago and it was very nice however, being a new location it had a few kinks to work out. First our reservation was lost, they did accommodate us but made it sound as if they were going to be busier than they were, the drinks were priced like a Boston location which is fine but don't think you are going there without a large bar tab. The food was pretty good, being a new place maybe a bit more polishing of recipes. As stated I believe once they are more established these issues will resolve themselves. Service was excellent!!!!!

Craft table is an awesome spot for great food and drinks. The drinks and specials change throughout the seasons keeping the menu fun and interesting. This restaurant is definitely a strong competitor for the local favorites.

I wanted to like this place. Cons - broken hollaindaise, watery eggs and the craft cocktails were a complete fail. Pros - nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The place is still working out some kinks and should consider a new brunch time chef and bartender. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

Food and menu were excellent. For the allergy minded person there were a lot of options. Our server and hostess were friendly and very helpful. Environment was great - Perfect volume, casual. It was a very nice place to eat on a weeknight, grab a drink after work and a short walk to the theatre on a show night. Connected to the comedy club, it is a great convenient spot for a drink or meal before or after a laugh. Very happy with the quality and they did an amazing job renovating. City manager was getting a tour while we were there. Everyone seemed impressed. Will be going again!

Nice shot for a delicious before theatre dinner. The short rib grilled cheese was amazing 😍

A polished casual atmosphere. Our dinner was a wonderful experience! The waitress took her time to explain the special nuances of each dish, which had a nice little spin on what we are used to. For example pineapple in the calamari was something I would not ever think to be an ingredient, yet it added more depth to the dish. The craft drink list was well thought out. The bar manager came by to chat and explain his pairing recommendations. He was able to match the perfect drinks to our preferred tastes and dishes. Overall an excellent night out with delious food and personalized service!

Went here for dinner for the first time tonight. Our experience started out great and continued as such through dinner. The server was friendly and attentive and our dinner was delicious. Then it went downhill rather quickly, for no obvious reason. After boxing up our leftovers, the server recommended dessert. We were on the fence (as we were both stuffed) but she convinced us to try something. We ended up ordering the cheesecake squares. We waited for 25 minutes with our server nowhere in sight. Mind you, there were only three other tables in the whole place - a couple drinking by the bar, a 3-top who had already gotten their food and a 2-top who had just been seated. Finally our server came to our table and said she had “just yelled at the cook and it would be just one more minute.” Another 15 minutes went by. At this point, having waited 40 minutes for cheesecake, my husband and I were ready to go home. When our dessert finally came out, we asked for it to be boxed to go. Our server’s response? “Okay” and brought it back with our check. No apologies, no nothing. I get that things happen; but when a restaurant is absolutely dead and you make your customers wait 40 minutes for three cheesecake squares, at the very least, an apology was in order. With all the other restaurant options in Worcester, both new and old, I doubt we’ll give this place a second try. Sad when poor service ruins good food.

We went for Worcester Restaurant Week. The food was good but not great and they seem to rely pretty heavily on the bar which has an extensive beer selection. I think this is best for locals although I'm not sure I would drink there then walk home given the location. I also didn't see any access other than the stairs down to the restaurant so do find out about alternative entrances if a member of your party can't take stairs.
