Pickle barrel is a wonderful place! Service is always good and the food is delicious and at a good price. Swiss mushroom burger, chicken and waffles, and the Cesar salad are my top 3 picks here. The owner Gus is friendly and the waitresses remembered my order when I came back after a couple months after only being there a couple times. They definitely won me and my friends as regulars

Pretty good, you get a large amount of food and coffee. I however, don't like the fact that the plates are plastic or melamine with a brown stripe around the perimeter of the plate that is chipping off. It makes me a little nervous when eating thinking I might ingest some paint chips.

This is an old school dinner, it seems like it was opened in the 70s or 80s. U went there for the fish and chips and kept going back. They have good food and good service. I think it's a community staple, Every time I go, it is always busy.

This might be my favorite diner in Worcester (and thereās a lot of competition for that title)! While it may not be a classic train car, it makes up for it with lots of room inside. This is the only diner Iāve been to in the area that has cheddar cheese on itās omelettes - which is a major bonus for me! The grilled blueberry muffins are also to die for.

Hands down the best place in Worcester for breakfast. Gus is a gentleman and the portions for the price are cheaper than making it at home ! Lunches and dinners also well worth it along with a unique atmosphere makes the place a 5 in my book !

I've ordered from this place a few times now and the first few times was pleased and even one time impressed but the more I order from there the worse it gets each time. Ordered a buffalo chicken dinner and a buffalo chicken salad extra ranch for both. After waiting an hour and ten minutes my order gets to me (I work less then a half mile from the place) mostly cold, chicken burnt, and one small container of ranch. So I call and I'm sitting waiting another half hour only to receive one more tiny cup of ranch and a cup of Buffalo sauce. After arguing with the manager who was rude as hell. I like this place but I will not be ordering from them for a very, very, very long time, if ever again!

The food is great. Great spot to people watch. Customers are professionals, blue collar, retired,and the unemployed.I have been supporting the Pickle Barrel for years. Sam has done a great job. A must when in the pleasant street area.

Food is good but the service sucks. Waitresses are rude and if you try to get their attention they get ruder. Delivery is worse. They SLOP what ever you order in a tri- pod Styrofoam container. You find your veggies AND gravy have ripped the brown bag and are all inside the plastic bag. Today we ordered boiled dinners. There was so much water from the cabbage that covered everything in the container that even the kielbasa tasted like cabbage..all done with this place.
