Review City Line Diner - Worcester

Super friendly place and lovely decor. You have to order an omelette to see the cutest thing evah. So the staff know what each omelette is they create a display with a small piece of all the fillings on the top. Check out my photo for the broccoli 🥦 onion 🧅 pepper 🫑 and mushroom 🍄 on top of the omelette. Tasted great as well.

Stopped in for a late breakfast on Sunday around noon. Although the place was pretty busy we were seated immediately. Our waitress was pretty friendly and welcoming. She clearly was used to the hustle as the place was booming and she managed things flawlessly. My buddy ordered a burger and fries which looked pretty decent. I ordered a breakfast quesadilla. They also have home fries or hash browns available but I went for the home fries. The quesadilla wasn't anything to speak of but the potatoes were my least favorite thing about this place. They were simply not done enough for my liking. They weren't nasty but I prefer my home fries crispy and these were anything but. After I already ordered, I noticed the waitress serving up a plate of chicken and waffles. Damn, had I known... She was nice enough to bring by a piece to try. Umm gooood lord! As I looked around, many of the other patrons clearly knew that there is a jewel hidden inside this unsuspecting eatery. I will be back ...for the chicken and waffles.

Great place for breakfast! Food came out fast and our waitress Laurie was awesome. We will definitely be back!

Your average breakfast place. Nothing special. The food took a good 20 minutes which us strange because we were there for breakfast, 3 people. Usually breakfast food is put at the table before your can take a sip of your drink. We were not offered refills on any of our drinks, we had to flag her down. The service was less than to be desired and the food was ok. Won't be back when there are so many great breakfast places in worcester. My omelet was good though, flipped perfectly. It was the bacon cheeseburger omelet.

Best loaded home fries but this time they totally flunked the Eggs Benedict. Brought it to the waitresses attention and she did absolutely nothing about it. Also, asked for more coffee but she didn’t bring back any more cream so it just sat there getting cold. Won’t be going back for a while. Thank you to the owner for reaching out. One bad experience is not going to stop me from going back. Will try again in the near future.

Staff was super friendly, food was absolutely amazing, some of the best omelettes I've ever had and they STUFF them. I will be going back to have more off the menu for sure. Specials always are great. It's a small building and the tables are close together but still a great place to go.

The wait staff are very friendly and helpful in there and the food came and it was nice and hot. They have a very good big breakfast menu! It's great!

Terrible owner who was very rude when speaking to us with fowl language. The other staff and food was great, but the owner’s terrible hospitality has ruined this establishment. Would never eat here again.

Wow the food is great. I had the chicken parm which is the best I've had in this area. The chicken is thick and very moist. Wife had a burger with fries, also delicious.

Great breakfast at a reasonable price! This hidden gem will be our go to when in the area.

Very poor reception. Big crowd at the front door, no communication from staff. You're just left standing there, no names taken. No method to the madness. Customer service is rude disorganized and slack...waitress walks away while you're still ordering. Hopefully the food is worth the effort after after all the bs. Won't be back again regardless.

Had the all you can eat chicken pot pie it tasted sour one plate was enough

The service was good. The waitress did good by our orders. They also checked in on us to see was there anything else we may need.

If you like stuffed French toast, they have the best banana stuffed! Absolutely delicious!

Just had the best Thanksgiving buffet I ever had, besides my mom and wife, at City Line Diner. The homemade apple raisin stuffing was excellent, the green bean casserole, turkey, etc.!! All for only 13.95, you can not beat that price anywhere.

Place is awesome. The food is great, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is inviting. Oh and the price of the food is more than fair
