Love this place. My family and 14 of us are going Sunday. We preorder to let the kitchen know. Brilliant roast at a good price. Great range of vegi and vegan options. Tasty and great value through out. Excellent service and thoughtfull and kind staff. Well done The Alma team. Your becoming a Worcester instution!

I come here with my great-uncle for lunch. It has a quiet, rustic atmosphere and is popular with elderly locals. The bar area always has sports on, and there are often parties as they have a separate area for large groups. It is very accommodating towards guests with additional needs (like extreme autism). My uncle also likes it as it has a variety of beers which you can't get at other local pubs (don't ask me which ones!). My favourite pub food is gammon steak, and this place does the best I've ever had, it serves lovely crispy onion rings, and it does a lotus biscoff cheesecake that is better than any other cake in Worcester.

Thank you so much to The Alma Tavern for providing such wonderful food and service for my fathers wake on 5th June. The function room was perfect, family and friends highly complemented on the choice of food, plus catered for a variety for dietary requirements. Fantastic service at such an emotional event, friendly staff who work so hard, highly recommend function room for variety of events.

We booked the function room for a family gathering to celebrate several milestones and to remember someone special who hadn't had the send off she deserved during lockdown. Everything went perfectly, the room and use of the beer garden on a warm, sunny afternoon was ideal with guest ages ranging from 1 to 93. The food was delicious, plentiful and good value with veggie and vegan options well labelled. Unfortunately, some staff didn't turn up so we had to use the main bar for drinks but that wasn't too much hassle. All in all a great little venue.

Brilliant venue, the owners really are at the forefront of good management.. customers always put first, the food is great.. not your usual boring pub grub! It’s meals from the heart .. the sort that make you remember your mum making you a hearty dinner when you were young (which is a good thing). They also showcase regular entertainment which is a major plus! 5 stars from me!! Keep up the good work!!
