Came here as a recommendation after it was raved however they didn't explain the layout or that you have to enter a pub first before going upstairs. This place is definitely not wheelchair accessible and any one with a disability or who struggles up stairs this place is not recommended which is a shame as staff and ambience is lovely. The food was delicious. Started off with a smaller portion of pasta for a starter which was delicious. I can't remember the name of the dish but it was White venison with a parmesan sauce and was devine. I then had the Pork Belly from the specials menu (so might not always be available) but that too was amazing. The pork belly was tender and the crackling crisp. The waitress was super pleasant and very helpful with her knowledge. I feel that management let her down though as it seemed to be only her waiting on a full restaurant full of customers. I too would definitely recommend a visit here as the food was just amazing and the ambiance matched it.

Visiting Worcester we needed food, and was recommended Sugo by work colleagues. My wife and I were incredibly surprised by how authentic the food is. It's very well presented, incredibly fresh, staff were attentive, and covid safe. I cannot wait to revisit, it was a real highlight! Incredibly impressed.

Gorgeous authentic spaghetti carbonara and lasagne. Side salads were disappointing and had no dressing.

Food was great, Table was upstairs on the first floor, noisy and very hot up there, air conditioning would have been so nice!!

MUST READ **visited on Saturday 5th June 2021: Honestly- Worcester has a few great Italian restaurants - most with a twist to satisfy the bellies of us brits - like our magnificent drive for "Spaghetti Bolognese". Joining the greats is Sugo - but with pure authentication in their food, it is far the best i have eaten in worcester, and possibly the West Midlands. It's low key, sat within the Lamb and Flag, a stunning old pub. The restaurant is staffed by knowledgeable servers, and from the enthusiastic conversations from the nearby kitchen - Italian chefs with a passion. The food is well presented, perfectly cooked and prompt. THIS RESTAURANT IS A MUST FOR ALL - EVEN IF ITS TO TRY THE AUTHENTIC CARBONARA!! I will be back! To the owners - DO NOT CHANGE A THING.

Thoroughly enjoyed my evening here, small restaurant on top of a good pub. The food was really nice, simple, but very well cooked as Italian should be. Service was good. Wine list was very good, the Amerone red was a delight. Will be back.

A traditional real ale pub with an authentic Italian restaurant upstairs. There is an extensive bar menu of Italian food as well. I took an Italian chef there and he was very impressed with the true Italian cooking - not the anglicised versions we often get. E.g. the carbonara is not drowned in cream - just a bit of egg on proper fresh pasta with bacon topping and parmesan. Delicious. Hugely recommended.

Intimate and cosy venue above the pub. Great quality food with a very family feel about the place. Highly recommend.
