The Village Bakery

We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon lunch at The Village Bakery. Everything we had was great. I had the burger which was incredible. One of the best burgers I have ever had. Two paddies were super juicy, the brochette bun was lightly toasted and fresh. I opted for beacon and avocado to be added. The frites were cooked perfect. The lunch paired with a couple English golden ales was perfect! My wife had the fried chicken which she enjoyed. She had the OJ for her beverage which was fresh squeezed. Our visit was on a nice warm sunny day even though it was toward the end on November, so we ate outside. Inside dining was open with 25% capacity, but that might change depending on county restrictions. Parking was a little tough with Buck’s next door being packed. Because if Covid, reservations are recommended during busy times even though we saw a table here and there open. Service was very good too. If you are in the area, check this place out.

The bakery was busy, but they have a sit down area and a to-go bakery which is nice. The bakery staff wasn't the most friendly and took a long time to take our order even though we were the only ones in the store. My friend and I each got their different blended cold brews (one mocha, one caramel) and they were vastly different in texture and strength of coffee taste. That being said, they were both pretty good! Also, the best part by far was their biscuit breakfast sandwich! It was maybe the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had... it was a cheddar and chive biscuit with a supper yummy sausage, cheese, sauce, and an egg on the inside.
