The margarita pizza was good but could use more garlic.
Everyone loved the taco pizza but all agreed that the cheese used could be better.
Mozzarella cheeses were good.
Poppers were also good and so is their sauce. We have never had a sauce like it before.
We also got an order of boneless wings. At first we though it was buffalo sauce but it was a light spicy glaze.
And the third pizza we got was a simple half sausage and pepperoni pizza.
I came here about a week ago for the first time and ordered pasta. It was delicious, I loved it and was so excited to come back. Unfortunately they permanently closed two days later.
I'm giving Al's a 4 for now. A while back I wasn't impressed. Seemed to get my orders wrong and the pizza just didn't measure up to the location in Cicero. So I was on a break for well over a year. One day decide to give it a shot mainly because I really don't want a chain pizza or what I call "Vacation " pizza. I'm glad I did because it was really really good. Took advantage of their 2 pizza deal one Monday night and was very pleased. I will still argue that they call it toppings for a reason, pepperoni should be one top. Not underneath...lol But that's my opinion. Have been back twice and same great experience.
Mark(Marc) was incredible and (as two individuals with individual tastes) helped us make the most informed decision we could, while still focused on taste and preference. Not only that, but he even brought it out to us as we waited outside in the parking lot. I cannot stress enough the importance of customer service given in a specific instance, while at the same time, maintaining the quality of a product whether it be publicly advertised or not. I would definitely recommend Al's Pizza, not just to friends from out of town, but also to locals who may may not be aware of the establishment itself. My other half feels as though she "found a long lost lover in the balance of jalapeno and cheese, making her soul feel whole again".
I love them! Food and employees! My girlfriend was having a bad day. I asked them just to write I love you and hope you feel better on each box of pizza.. thinking it would just be a scribble! Nope that artist the heck out of it!!! Cartoon teddy bears and an amazing heart drawing with the words I love you! If I could give more stars I would! Also! Pizza puffs are the best!!!! And salads!
Had 16" Veggie pizza, Chopped salad And chocolate cake.
Pizza had Great flavor Very tasty sauce Just a tiny bit on the sweet side. Chocolate cake out of this world. One thing you notice about the restaurant it's very clean.
