Doggie Diner

Before I start, I just want to say that I agree with the the other reviewer that the guy taking the order absolutely sounds like he's a radio host! On to the restaurant, if you want a greasy spoon place that feels like Chicago, but in the burbs, you must go to this place. The food is excellent (I tried the gyro and polish) and they give you a lot, especially the fries! As a fry lover, I was very happy. The guys behind the counter, kudos to them for being so polite. Will definitely be going back to try what else they offer.

011820 I have dined here in there past and it's a lot of food for a good price. This location has been here for a long time and located in an old strip mall that kinda needs a facelift. The restaurant does provide some tables, chairs and booths but during busy hours can be filled up. Sadly the interior is nothing to write home about and could definitely use a major facelift, It's very aged and can make you feel it's not clean. Paint, new ceiling tiles could brighten it up. The menu is huge and can be confusing and overwhelming so if you can look up their menu first it might help. I had the gyros and a side of fries, the fries as you can tell were huge and they were also perfectly cooked, meaning crispy outside soft inside. The gyros I thought had a tad to much of the sauce so next time I'll get it on the side, the sauce over took the meat, onion and tomato flavors... you never got to taste those ingredients, so the gyros I can't say was the best sadly but less sauce could change that. The price was decent for the amount of food and you will end up taking home leftovers of the gyros. I would day give this place a try it does have many many good reviews!

This is a great Chicago style fast food restaurant. Plus the menu has dozens of choices, and they always accommodate my plant based needs by letting me create my own sandwich And if you’re ordering fries, come hungry, they give you a lot! It’s sports themed inside, and good for family meal with a few TVs too

We had a quick bite in this no nonsense hot dog joint. I’m a Green River fan and they had it on tap, awesome plus. We tried the hot dog special which was fine, they served up the dogs, on request with celery salt and HUGE sport peppers and dill pickle spears. The gyros was pretty good as well, we just got taziki sauce on it and that was perfect by our standards. No complaints from my daughter on the corn dogs.
