Corky & Lenny's in Woodmere is a very fine deli. They have a large dine-in area and a separate take-away section with all the goodies on display. I stopped in on a chilly NE Ohio Saturday afternoon in December. I started with a bowl of Matzo ball soup. It is served piping hot perfect for a day like today. The broth tastes very good. I followed the soup with the regular - not the KING - size Hot Pastrami sandwich - YUMMY! They served complementary whole dill pickles with the sandwich. The server, Chad was very nice and attentive. He had several customers and made the effort to treat each customer special and with great service. His extra effort seemed effortless and this later in the afternoon. He asked me if I was interested in dessert. I looked at the sweets in the take-away section on the way back to the dine-in area when I arrived. Everything looked so good. After the soup and sandwich , I was pleasantly satisfied and said no reluctantly to the dessert. All in all a very good dining experience. I will be back. You bet I will be back for great food and great service.
Really amazing! I have gotten an earful about how great this place is from my brother in law for years and finally went. My server was amazing. He knew what we needed before asking and was really nice. Besides great staff, the food lives up to the hype. Everyone in our group had amazing meals and were so glad we drove out of our way to go there for lunch. Will absolutely go again.
I had the absolute best corned beef sandwich on rye today! Yummy!
This was a family favorite many moons ago on Cedar. My dad was there weekly with his cronies. Good times and good food! I miss those good old days!
The food was great, but the take out process is a bit difficult for someone like me, with mobility issues. It involves a lot of standing around, though no one seemed to have a problem when I went to sit at the counter. All of the staff was very nice. I cannot recommend the chocolate chip cookies, they're not very sweet. The corned beef and latkes are to die for!
The best salad I ever ate! I had the Rachel. I highly recommend it. There was so much meat I took half of it off and took it home for a sandwich the next day. My only regret is that I didn't buy the bread to go with!!
This place never disappoints. Hungry? You’re here! I had the eggs and lox which were perfect by the way and my buddy had the sandwich. We battled over the pickles.
Huge deli and fresh bakery deserts. I had to bring some home to the family. Every town needs one if these.
We went on a Tuesday@ noon and had no problem getting a booth. The place was bustling but very efficient. I had the corned beef reuben on rye -5 stars. Definitely opt in for the complimentary pickles, fresh and snappy - 5 stars
Their food and service are pretty good. Whenever I visit, it's always busy so they've continued to do something right over the years. As they update their decor, it gets louder though. Hard to have a discussion without raising your voice.
