REVISED 7/6: Keith was so kind as to authentically care about my experience and make it right. He was thankful for my feedback and even offered me a gift certificate to try them again. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich along with the bacon and cheese fries. I highly recommend both and would definitely order it again! I also ordered a strawberry shake which was also delicious. Nice and thick just like they used to be. Thank you, Keith, for caring about your customers. I will be back.
7/4 The burger was dry and did meet my expectations for the premium price I paid. It filled the hole but both the burger and fries were not very flavorful.
Wayback burgers is, amazing! Tried it and loved it, anyone looking for a burger shop living in the twin cities, or is a visitor in town for a few days, this is the place to go.
The burgers are delicious, the mac-n-cheese bites are to die for and the owner Karen is fantastic...you have to try this place!! :)
The burgers are fresh and delicious. They don't make the food until it is ordered. The fries are always fresh and hot. The music played are songs from the fifties and sixties. The shakes are thick and yummy! We drive about 30 miles to get to the closest location to us and it's worth it.
Just experienced this sweet gem for the first time. It's clear the owners take pride in their business. Customer service was great, even got to hear the owner sing a little in the background (loved it), burgers, tots and fries were perfect!! Our new favorite burger place!
Always amazing food, service and atmosphere. My ONLY knock is it's expensive for a fast food restaurant. Definitely recommended if you haven't tried it yet.
Delicious burgers, super juicy, moist, flavorful and hardly greasy! I loved how different they were from other burger places, and was very impressed by their food, especially the creativity in their menu. They didn't skimp on the quality of the fries either (that actually surprised me).
I wanted to give them 5 stars, but it was hard to find a table that was wiped clean (there was dried bbq sauce and food residue on most of them), and I wanted to wash my hands but the smell and look of the bathroom made me change my mind and sanitize instead.
We’ve been coming to Wayback for about a year now and each and every time we’ve experienced nothing but great customer service, great food and overall a great experience! Not to mention that this place is Halal. We have tried multiple halal burger spots across the country including Chicago and Cali and this place definitely makes it’s on our list of great burgers!

Good burger, rings were really good and the shake was geat!
AWESOME burgers, fries, and shakes!! The classic burger is the closest thing I’ve had to the flavor of In-N-Out in Minnesota. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - in addition the staff is really friendly, and the tables are spaced out and clean. Will be back there VERY soon!
Great place to eat. The beef burgers juicy. Also, defiantly try the chilly fries. Friendly staff and good service. All part of the package.
