Great Food, friendly service, best Mexican food I have had in Illinois, prices are great, food portions are large, and spiced right. You are missing out if you dont try this place.

I read about the upcoming move to Eastgate in the news. That lead me to yelp where I saw countless reviews raving about the food and service. We decided to see what the old Mc Donald's building had in store for Mexican fare. I will say that I'm glad we checked it out. Service was excellent and all of the food came out hot with tons of flavor. I'm looking forward to the move and will probably make this our go to spot for Mexican.

This is Wood River's best kept secret.
My family and I Always love coming here. My favorite dish is the Alambre Especial, followed closely by the chips and salsa that they serve to each table. The french fries are also awesome, and better than anything you'll find in the area. I encourage you to check it out the next time you're around.

Filling authentic Mexican food...I ordered the "Enchiladas Supremas". Homemade salsa is flavorful and not spicy. Super-friendly staff. Glad I came here...definitely coming back.

I go to this restaurant every couple months and I love it. the food and the service is consistently good. They also have very good margaritas, and I'm not a drinker. If you like authentic Mexican food you will love this restaurant.

New Margarita special! Monday $4 grande. Not cinchy with the tequila either! Best salsa in the area. Had the shredded chicken taco salad with fresh grilled jalapenos. Delicious! Gabby's band plays every other Monday. Have to go back for that. We were there on the off Monday.

This place has really good food for a decent price. Service is hit or miss. Used to go for $2 margarita Tuesdays but they started putting less and less alcohol and more water and mix in them... Seriously tho the food is really good!
