The food was decent. Your typical greasy spoon with breakfast and dinner options. Their waffles are their claim to local fame and had a beautifully crispy exterior. A nice pure syrup or local jam would've been a great addition.

The breakfast was amazingly good. Superior quality; scrambled eggs were fully cooked but fluffy, bacon was crispy but not burnt, toast had the perfect dollop of butter, the grits were gritty, and I could go on. We were in Wise, VA for a few days and everyone even the kids wanted to go back each day;
In an area where there are relatively few options, we were very happy to find this restaurant. One of us got lunch and one breakfast. Both meals were very nicely prepared. The service by Teresa, supported by Mandy, was excellent.
If going through this area, we highly recommend stopping in!
The food is always good I love the one cooks that they're most of the time we stop to eat. But that's the second or third time we've had that waitress and she just is horrible. She doesn't smile looks like she don't want to fool with us sits on her phone leaning against the cooking grill area not on

Good place to eat need better listening wateresstes....they don't write down your order, then get passed off when they don't get the tip they think they deserve.....

Food is delicious, made to order fresh in front of you. The wait staff and cooks are exceptional - very attentive and made sure our food was right.
