Adorable walk up ice cream shop located on the corner of John Wayne Dr & E Green St, offering more than just ice cream. In fact it looks like they have quite the menu to choose from. Prices are good. We chose medium size soft serve cones which were quite generous. There are only outside tables to sit at. Parking is on the street as far as I could tell.
Definitely a place to stop when visiting Winterset, IA.

This is the spot. Fast, cheap, and great ice cream. Grab a treat and take a walk around the square. Hard to beat on a summer evening or afternoon.

Something about a small town ice cream and food shop... I just love it. Relaxed, affordable, good eats. Can't go wrong stopping by. No frills, but who needs complications these days. I can feed the family including ice cream for under $20. Cash only - be prepared.

They make the best shakes around. And they make them with real fruit. They don't just sell ice cream either, they have burgers,chicken strips, and walking tacos. Fries and onion rings as well.

This is an awesome walk-up restaurant! My husband and I went here for the first time on Labor Day and we will definitely go back. Their helpings are generous, and the prices are extremely reasonable. They do only take cash only, but that helps keep prices low. We didn’t have any cash, but there is a Kum & Go across the street we easily got cash back from—and it was so worth it! Their fries were some of the best I’ve had (made fresh), and their ice cream was delicious! I got a small fry and shake, which would’ve easily been a medium-size elsewhere.
