Great food and fantastic service!
Lamb Rogan Josh (darker dish) - Stronger flavoring, available in 1-5 spicy levels, very tender meat, I really enjoyed it at level 3 simlar to jalapeño spiciness
Scallop and Shrimp Moilee (yellow dish) - Lighter flavored, 1-5 spicy level, at level 2 it was black pepper spicy, not a typical highly seasoned dish but still good
Kashmeri Naan - Sweet, almost desert like and a nice offset for spicy food, we had to try it because we had seen the cherry and date flavors in our local places.
I definitely liked their chicken fried momos than my main dish which was Lamb biriyani. Their Lamb biriyani was more vegetables than the Lamb pieces and was sweet. Didn't feel like I was having biriyani. But I gotta say I loved the atmosphere and the service. One of the servers had the sweetest smile and I had to compliment him on that and he was also so exited doing the serving. Would definitely recommend the fried chicken momos. My American friend liked his mulligatawny soup which I didn't try so idk about that personally. The food was definitely very nicely presented and their washrooms were also fine.
I highly recommend the chicken korma. The vegetable curry was also good but wasn’t as amazing.
Me and the pals were craving some yummy grub after our crazy hike, when we stumbled across this diabolical indian diner we knew we had to try it out. We were greeted with super cool Indian men and the interior looked very nice. The water was the best quality and the food was diabolically Bussin, me and the buddies declared this food as our favorite Indian food we have ever had and it puts all other foods to shame!!!😋 Durbar is our favorite restaurant thank you Durbar!!!!!👍👍👍🔥🔥😀
Restaurant was packed!! Highly recommend reservations. Fortunately we got seats at the bar. We had vegetarian samosas that were a bit dry but my main meal of cauliflower and nan was delicious!
We'll be back again next time we're in town
So good we had to visit twice in three days! Every dish was delicious and each person their team was lovely and welcoming. The saag, lamb tikka masala, and mango lassi were highlights! We can’t wait to go back and try more on the menu!
This place has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always on point, packed full of flavor and very fresh. My gf loves the coconut curry, I usually get lamb tikka. Both are amazing. The food is fairly priced in our opinion, and service is always prompt and friendly, even when it’s packed.
Definitely worth a try if you like good Nepalese/Indian food.
Did takeout, where they did patient explanation of the dishes when we were ordering on the phone requesting mild or non-spicy dishes. Ordered the recommended veggie masala which was excellent: not spicy, unique flavors, and lots of veges. Also had the tandoori grill of Hariyali Salmon Tikka - two average sized pieces (see photo) on a bed of raw onions for $22, which doesn’t seem worth the value but they tasted good. The garlic naan was the most pungent garlic flavor naan we’ve ever had in US and Canada; so if you like extremely garlic taste then get it, and don’t if you only prefer mildly flavored. Everything came with rice. Overall, food is great, and the portion size of the entrees is so so for the price compared to other Nepalese restaurants. Given how rare it is to find this type of cuisine, still recommend it for the quality of the dishes.
We weren’t even hungry when we walked into Durbar - greedy is what we were.
Traveled far and wide and this is one of the best tasting curries we have had. The price is right and service is tops. Had my first scallop curry here and loved it. My husband enjoyed the lamb curry with potatoe paratha. We are impressed and highly recommend Durbar.
Went on Sunday night so it wasn't very busy. Ordered Palak paneer and chicken vindaloo plus the combo appetizer. All were very good and very promptly delivered to our table. We got our drinks after a few minutes, then the app a few minutes later, then the entries about 10 minutes later. Really perfect for a quick dinner. Great service, good drinks and very good food.
What an amazing experience!! Everything about this place is 5 star. Food was delicious. Service was prompt and welcoming. Atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy. Menu holds wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. I would be definitely going back during my stay at Winter Park.
Food was authentic and atmosphere was great. Everything we had was fantastic. Mint shrimp appetizer, shrimp sag, tandoori chicken and garlic nan. Highly recommended when visiting winter park.
Entering the restaurant, we were greeted with the aroma of delicious spices and freshly cooked food. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, and the staff is very helpful, but not overly intrusive. Our entire meal was delightful and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice!
A quaint Indian food location.
Seating and parking was easy.
The interior space and decor was adequate.
Service was attentive.
Food was tasty, yet sparse in serving size.
Creamed corn was not available
This venue was a nice change of flavors, but - I would not consider it a "first choice'' -destination
Heard about this place in an article on Facebook and just had to make the trip up here to try it. Loved the atmosphere and decor, the service was great and the food was delicious. It was a little expensive but the quality was well worth it. Definitely recommend the Tikka masala I liked how you could get it on a spice level of 1-10 depending on how you like it, I got a 5 and it was perfect. The lamb was also superb I've never tasted anything like that before, it was beyond expectation!
Amazing food, friendly staff, great drinks! Our first visit here, and we will come every time we visit Winter Park. Ordered 2 spicy Vindaloo dishes. They are not kidding about the spicy part! Wow!

The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived (around 6:30 pm). We ordered Samosa, Tandoori chicken, Dal soup, four kinds of curry (curry - lamb, butter chicken, coconut chicken, Tikka Masala), and garlic Naan. The Tandoori chicken was crispy and tender inside. Each of the curry had its own distinct taste and flavor - the lamb curry was the closest to my impression of Indian style curry (strong flavor), while the others are more of southeastern style, probably because of their creamy taste. Butter chicken was my favorite.
Overall a really good restaurant - friendly staffs, decent food and beer, reasonable price. The reason why I took one star off was because (1) we waited for about 45 mins to get all the entrees, (2) the poor venting making our cloths smell greasy, and (3) the Naan, which is supposed the spirit of Indian cuisine, was below my expectation - not warm, no apparent garlic flavor.
Simply the best Nepalese/Himalayan food! We eat here after skiing at Winter Park weekly. They are always friendly, excellent service, and consistent delicious food.
