New York style Chinese. Was fast, hot, flavorful and cheap. Everything I want in fast food Chinese. I got general Tso chicken with broccoli, pork fried rice, egg drop soup, hot oil, and spring roll. Everything was excellent. I did have to ask for green onions for my egg drop soup but she got them and didn’t even charge me. I will be back!

By the looks of this picture you can tell how much I enjoyed this meal! Lol! This was my first time trying He Sheng and it did not disappoint! The general tsos chicken was very flavorful and my food was served piping hot which I so appreciate. The egg was absolutely delicious which was surprising because I usually don’t like egg rolls. I will be back to He Sheng soon.

This take out spot is right around the corner from my apartment and I really enjoy their food. This style of Chinese takeout is what I grew up on and feels very nostalgic for me. All of my food is nice and hot when picking up. My usual go to is the chicken with mixed vegetables and fried chicken wings, and both are delicious.

This place is hidden and should get more recognition. Their lunch special is such a good deal it comes with pork fried rice & a free can of soda. I always spend about 10-11$ I always add 1 egg roll & plus tip. It is small no room for dine in. Carry out only but I prefer to eat my Chinese food on my couch anyways. I deff recommend!

This place is crazy good! The lo mein was nicely cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. Sweet and sour chicken was cooked to perfection, still juicy and crispy exterior! Portions were good too! It's easy to tell why this is one of the best Chinese joints around!

This place is so good for take out! I’ve been coming here for 3 years straight. If you like spicy, their Singapore Mei Fun is out of this world.

A neighborhood staple for good, fast, consistent & basic take-out Chinese food.
Is it gourmet? No. And if you are expecting that from a solid take-out joint, then you need to reconsider your choices. He Seng is family-run and serves up no nonsense Chinese favorites.
I lived in NYC before moving here & so far I’ve been happy with what I have ordered. I’ve never gotten sick - something I can’t say about other local Chinese take out restaurants - and they are not trying to be something they are not.
If you are looking for “authentic” Chinese, this isn’t it. But tasty it is.

I ordered in the phone, which was very easy and the person I spoke to was very kind. When my partner picked up the meal he said the place was super clean. Veggie fried rice was delicious, fresh and FULL of veggies. The Hot and Sour soup was good, it was different than I’ve had at other places, mostly the mushrooms were not quite right, but everything else tasted excellent! We’ll go again, for sure.
