This place is the best, unlike other movie theaters there is food, and the food is good. It is cool to think that my grandfather used to come here as a kid. They have some cool pictures hanging up. I would totally recommend this place. Way better than any of the new movie theaters

This is such a great place to see a movie. Dinner and drinks from the bar are brought right to your seats while you watch a newly released movie. You can just get fresh popcorn with real butter or nachos if you don't want dinner. There are two movie theaters. Whichever film has sold more seats gets the larger room downstairs, which most people prefer. The other screening room is upstairs and is smaller, maybe holding half the seats and tables. Both get the same menus and service, which is quite a treat. The food choices have remained pretty much the same over the years, but they work. I've had both their salads, equally good. The Cobb with chicken, egg and bacon and the Chefs with roast beef, Turkey, ham and cheese. Their home made chili ordered by the cup or bowl is well made with optional sour cream and cheese served with a hard roll and butter. Soups are clam chowder and French onion with a third special of the night. This Saturday was butternut squash. Sandwichs are grilled Reuben, chicken cutlet, Philly cheese steak, seafood salad pita, hot sausage and onion, cheese, eggplant parm or a hamburger. There's a cold pork roast platter and two pasta choices - cheese tortellini or penne both with marina sauce. There's usually a special appetizer and dinner selection, too. This weekend the app was garlic bread with marinara sauce on the side. Nicely toasted but not very much garlic. There's a mixed vegetable app, too, for vegetarians or those watching their diets. Mixed drinks, wine and pitchers of beer and margaritas can be served along with tea or coffee. Desserts I can think of offhand are cheesecake with strawberries, mousse, carrot cake and chocolate cake. Wait service is always dependable. The price of your movie tickets are added on to your dinner tab which is brought to you towards the end of the movie.
