Wow.. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. It was completely worth the hour drive. Medium spice level was perfect. It burns a bit but doesn't overpower. I will be coming back for sure.
Wow - hole in the wall with food that will blow you away. Coming from NYC and seeing the places in Queens, I did not expect to find such a place here in Burlington. Apparently there’s a whole lot of Nepalese places in Burlington. Chow mein is mouthwatering and plenty spicy. We also had the vegetarian and chicken momos with super hot, tasty sauce. Service is fast and lovely! Try this place now, you won't regret it!!
Friends Nepali Restaurant in Winooski is INCREDIBLE. Something about their use of spices, their preparation technique - food you've tried many times before will taste completely different and amazing! I bought some for my family for the first time last night and they all agreed that it was the best Indian food they've ever had! (They serve Indian, Nepalese, and some Chinese dishes) And for $80 four people ate until they were full and had leftovers!! My favorites are the saag paneer, chow mein, and you have to get the fried dumplings. But I don't think you could go wrong!
You can't go wrong with this hole-in-the-wall gem. Incredible food at an unbeatable price. The chef/owner is an amazing cook. We had the vegetable dumplings, with a spicy chili sauce, and the korma curry. Everything is made fresh to order, but it's more than worth the wait. My new favorite!
This place was completely delicious. Flavors beautifully nuanced. Low key atmosphere. Vegan friendly options. Just call beforehand, their hours are very inconsistent. Actually not even sure if they’re still open at this point because I haven’t been able to go back since we first ate there since they haven’t been open.

Got the Chicken Tiki Masala and wasn't dissapointed. Family owned, friendly staff and great food. What more could you ask for?
Vegetarian momos hit the spot along with a perfect spicy sauce in just the right quantity.. yum. yum.
Vegetarian shahi curry just ok. They were nice enough to make it w/ cabbage for me but it had little cabbage&other veggies.
Overall, good flavors, go for veg. momos!
