maaaaan. not only the staff are on point buuuuuut the carne asada is the best. been to many Mexican resturaunts that serve the carne asada but they are dry and tough. el maguey so is juicy and tender. they don't even ask what I want because I always order the same. I give it a ten

Salsa and chips are very good. The food for me is alright. It always comes out within minutes of ordering with the plate being to hot to touch. I assume they microwave quite a bit, but could be wrong.
A friend & I went to lunch at El Maguey in Winfield last week. My friend had never been there. My husband & I go there quite a bit. Their food is ALWAYS spot on every single time!! This day was no different. Right away they bring warm chips, really good salsa! I got a beef taco, cheese enchiladas, rice & beans. So, so good!! My friend ordered a shrimp quesadilla w/ peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, quacamole, sour cream and rice. She totally enjoyed it! Great place to eat, service is always fast and food is always good👍
