Review Chinese Ho Carryout - Winfield

It is pretty standard chinese food, but better than what you find in the surrounding area. Doesn't taste overly oily, and their chicken fried rice is a fantastic side for the special combos.

Fantastic! We ordered the family dinner for four. It was a good deal, four full orders, a large white rice and a large fried rice, four each of ribs , wonton , eegroll and a large wonton soup with a lot of meat in the wontons. Each dish had a good amount of meat and a good variety of real Chinese vegetables ,, bok choy , water chest , bamboo shoots , sprouts , ect. NOT like some places that just use carrots and peas and celery! For $50+ dollar's it's a lot of quality food. We had plenty of leftovers!

This is a great Chinese food takeout place. Support your local business. The owners of this place live in your community. They aren't part of a national mega chain of restaurants owned by elites that homogenize everything, destroy the fabric of society, and don't care about your neighborhood.

We have enjoyed Chinese Ho for years through different ownership. The current owners are upholding the quality we have enjoyed. I didn't intend to write a review but I saw 2 other reviews posted that state "fantastic atmosphere and delicious food and drinks" and "enjoyed the environment of this restaurant". They maybe confused as to which restaurant they are reviewing because this is a carryout place that does not serve drinks/alcohol. Enjoy this place for very good carryout food.

I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food. I have tried MANY local Chinese restaurants. For several years I traveled from Wheaton to Wheeling IL for my Chinese takeout until I discovered Chinese Ho carry out in Winfield, IL a couple of years ago. Delicious food, reasonable prices, kind and friendly staff. Definitely worth trying. Who knows...like me it may be just what you are looking for! :) C. West

I was introduced to Chinese Ho many,many years ago (as a little girl). I have tried numerous places over the years and nothing is like Chinese Ho. Now that I have moved back to the area, Chinese Ho is my ONLY place to get Chinese food. They even have changed ownership since I first had there food and the food is still the same...truthfully I think better since the "fresh, health kick" is going around. Yes, they have Brown Rice if you prefer. You can request no MSG as well. Their flavors are balanced and you actually taste flavor, too many places leave the food so bland. Love their egg rolls...I have never found anyone to top their flavor, crust, filling...nothing. Chinese Ho is always better! Some of my favorites: Egg Rolls, Beef & Broccoli, House Fried Rice, General Tso Chicken

If you looking for a good Chinese food this is the place This place is just amazing my family and I have being ordering from here for ever now and we won’t change..... we have being very unhappy went there close we and sad when your in the mood of getting Chinese food from your favor place and for some reason there close and you try a different place and is just not the same my family and I appreciate your services thank you for your delicious food..... please don’t ever close we miss you when you do 😊🙏🏻

This is by far my favorite restaurant. Always great tasting, portion size more then enough, and freshly made. The staff working are always friendly and happy to help.
