Gnarly Knots Pretzel Company - Winfield - Photo album

November 15, 2023 - This was my first visit to Gnarly Knots. My grandson and I shared a cinnamon sugar pretzel. It was warm, soft and delicious. I had an Americano coffee. It was not a pour over, but it was decent. The interior is a bit sterile and uninviting. There is a large amount of wasted spa
Flew in around midnight and this was the first place we stopped! We went on Thursday morning when it opened, there was plenty of parking. Walked into a cozy, relaxing store. Since it was early and I was wanting coffee I decided to go with the sugar cinnamon pretzel and the Cookie Butter Cold Brew
I have been wanting to try their new location in Lombard after they relocated from Winfield. This location is huge offering their homemade pretzels, soups, specialty stuffed pretzels and now coffee! They now serve specialty coffees and teas along with their everyday salted ,cheese, garlic and cinnamon
Overall, we really enjoy the food and the staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, closing at 5:00 PM during the week is a bummer, especially when our family wants Gnarly Knots for dinner (pretzels and soup are great in the fall/winter). Hopefully they take that into consideration in the future.
Update: We tried Knarly Knots again last week. The triple cheese stuffed pretzel & dips (herb butter & nacho cheese) were OUTSTANDING! I also brought home a frozen Ale Cheddar soup, which I haven’t tried yet. Based on the delicious pretzel & dips, I am REVISING my original review from one star to fo
Outstanding pretzels, sauces, soups, and service! Highly recommend Monte Cristo stuffed pretzel. Soup of the day is Cheddar Egg was delicious! Took Spicy Brisket Chili home - can’t wait to try it. Service is quick and friendly, so glad something good is finally in downtown Lombard.
My first time coming to this place and I enjoy the environment and the staff was very nice. I had a cinnamon sugar pretzel with a Cane Sugar Soda. It was very tasty. Highly recommend this small coffee shop. It’s very affordable prices.
This new location is great! You can't go wrong with a restaurant dedicated to soft pretzels. My go-to is the Italian beef pretzel, complete with au jus for dipping. I have not had any of their coffee drinks, but if you have a sweet tooth, they would likely be right up your alley.
We’ve been fans of Gnarly Knots for years & were so excited to visit their new location. The pretzels are just as delicious as ever & the staff was friendly and did a great job managing the crowd. This is a must-stop spot for us anytime we’re in the Chicagoland area!
Only been here once but will visit again, close to work which makes it convenient to go there for lunch. If you love pretzels is a must try. I forgot to get pictures but I will be sure to get some next time. I got the pretzel hot dog and it did not disappoint. Wish they were open a bit later but bes
First timer! Came here as a recommendation from a friend that raved about this place. So glad I listened. We tried a little of everything to get the whole experience. The tomato and basil soup was amazing. This is always on the menu. We tried the "soup" of the day, which was chili. Really good chunk
All I can say is OMG these are the most amazing pretzels. I’m so glad they moved close to my house! Love the 3 cheese but tried the Italian beef for the first time and my life will never be the same Best food ever
I braved the chilly weather to try this. The remodelled space is bright, clean and modern. The wall.mounted menu is well lit. It was very busy when I arrived but the wait wasn't long. I had a fresh, soft, thick garlic asiago pretzel with the bacon jalapeno cream cheese. The pretzel was warm, soft an
Finally tried out Gnarly Knots at its new location. The pretzels are just as delicious. I also tried the tomato soup. That was ok. It needed more of a kick to it. But overall it was good. The service was fast. And I didn't have to wait in a line.
All I have to say is Pretzel Dogs. They are awesome here. There's obviously a lot of other things like soup and Pretzels that are cool too.. BUT nothing beats their Pretzel Dogs. If they made tiny versions of those that would be awesome and I would eat them all day.
What is there to say? If you haven't heard of this place or been there, are you even living? The pretzels are blessed by the gods, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the vibe is chill. It'd be cool if they added some kind of outdoor seating when the weather is really nice. But yeah. Go there.
I came in the afternoon and there was no wait. It was my first time visiting GK and so I was boring and tried just the plain salted pretzel. Well that was the best dang salted pretzel I've ever eaten. I'm looking forward to going back to try other flavors. TIP: follow them on Facebook as they will p
