Old School Bar & Grill

Driven by the place for years but never went in. Decided to try it out with my mom last night. It’s a bit loud, but trust me when I say that doesn’t matter in the least once the food comes. I got the steak tips and tenders with sweet potato fries and garlic butter green beans and my mother got the moonshine ribs with the sane green beans and broccoli. These were by far the best steak tips I’ve ever had hands down! Cooked and seasoned perfectly and beyond tender. They melt in your mouth! The chicken was crispy and juicy. The ribs were delicious and fell off the bone. The green beans were to die for and sweet potato fries did not disappoint! It was our first time, but it definitely won’t be our last. I HIGHLY recommend this place. My only complaint was that I never stopped all those years I’d driven by!

Great menu for lunch. Outside seating was great on a beautiful day. Friendly and attentive staff. Good sized portions. Stop by dinner and enjoyed some beer and wine with an appetizer off the happy hour menu. My haddock sandwich was great and my wifes salad with grilled salmon was perfect. Make sure yoy stop by.

Is the service the fastest? No. Are the seats the comfiest? No. But none of that matters because the amazing menu at Old School Bar & Grill more than makes up for it! The steak tips are almost as tender as their filets, their ribs are savory, smokey, and fall off the bone, and the fries are to die for. I found this location on a whim, and it’s become my go-to recommendation for anyone looking for an unpretentious location for delicious meals in the area.
