Recommended by friend so stopped by for lunch. Tried the one at Thornton Park month ago, more old bar feel and not so clean. This one at Windermere is more modern and welcoming.
Colleagues and I got here around noon, we were seated right away, server was nice and patient to explain the menu for us. They feature local crafts and draughts, like their support for local businesses. We ordered
1. Spicy Shrimp Avocado Toast, add over easy eggs
~ This was in Everyday Brunch Menu, got good reviews on Yelp, so I tried it. No Disappointment at all. Marble Rye Toast was crispy, smashed avocado was fresh, together with Sriracha Mayo on top of chilled shrimp, what a brilliant combination. Ate with the eggs, I was in heaven. If you like spicy shrimp with avocado, You Have to Try This!
2. Grilled Veggie Sandwiches
~ Seasonal grilled veggies put with pesto and sprouts, personally I don't specifically like sprouts, but I think the whole sandwiches worked, also with your choice of cheese. Perfect for fresh, healthy and light lunch.
3. Dexters Special sandwiches
~ Again, everything looked fresh, perfect toasted breads with honey mesquite smoked turkey, smoked Gouda, house made lava mustard and mayo. Fresh Choice.
Overall, we had a great experience here for lunch. Nice service, fresh foods, good environment. Also they feature different bands during Friday and Saturday, sometimes Thursday.
Nice seating outside. They don't really have appetizers but the ChaCha Chips are great to snack on while waiting for food. Great service and very good food!
Delicious brunch spot! We originally visited a neighbor restaurant down the road for brunch only to be told it was an hour and a half wait. I called Dexter's Windermere and they said there wasn't a wait and they can write my name down to reserve a table just in case it does get crowded before we arrive (great service!). We arrived five minutes later and was immediately sat at a table. The brunch options are pretty expansive with avocado toast, eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast, burgers, and more. I opted for the standard French Toast which was delicious! They also have unlimited bloody Mary and mimosas option if you feel inclined. I was amazed by the amount of bottles that were opened at the bar during our stay which seems to be a popular option for unlimited. We only had two mimosas but will definitely return again for unlimited mimosas and some french toast.
Great food & drinks. Saturday & Sunday are
bottomless mimosas and at night on the weekends the band is usually very good. Recommend the duck sandwich and the steak flatbread.

This is a cozy place to eat. Tuesday’s they have dollar burgers. They have a jazz night once a month and happy hours with discounted drink and menu items. The employees are nice. The burgers to a bit long to come. Wasn’t a big deal. Enjoyed my first visit.
Very good restaurant. It’s hard to order bad food, but the prices are a little steep in comparison to the level of service and decor.
Patio is dog friendly. I've only been for brunch and always get the fish/shrimp and grits. Bottomless mimosas are great before tackling Disney.
Great food for a good price! Service was superb! Came here to celebrate mother's day and had a nice experience! Will return for the live music they offer.
Love love love this place. I have been here twice and the food is always delicious. You can't go wrong with the salads and all of my co-workers loved their entrees as well. There were no complaints on the food or the service. For our big work luncheon there was 2 servers and they brought the food out hot for all 15 of us! I would definitely return.
They change their menu up sometimes with chef specials and I have never been disappointed. Great pasta and good service, as soon as you get past the hostess stand. Don't sit in the bar area and you'll have an upper class experience with very reasonable prices. Makes for a fun date on a Saturday night.
