Best place to eat. We drive almost an hour just to eat here. Staff is awesome. We drove over and they were doing carry out only, due to being short staffed. When they found out we didn’t live there and had drove that far they made sure we were well taken care of. I just love local restaurants. Also their half a rack of ribs have more meat than most places full rack. I can’t say enough good things about this place!!!!

I never complain, but had to write a review this time. Although the restaurant was cute and well decorated, everything else was very dissapointing. The restaurant was not full at all but we waited a long time to order and even longer for the food, all of which arrived very cold. The macaroni was so congealed none of my 3 kids would eat it. Our ticket was rung up wrong so they brought the manager to sort it out and she was not interested in making anything right. She rearranged the ticket, to where it rang up exactly the same price with different things charged. I ordered a kids meal that I thought came with a side (because I asked the waitress and she told me the kids meals did indeed come with a side). The fries were charged as a side order. I guess I had picked the only kids meal on the menu that didn't come with a side. It would have been nice for the waitress to alert me to that as I asked for the "side that comes with the kids meal to be fries". The fried green tomatoes were mushy with raw batter inside, and very not-green, red mushy tomatoes inside. My 4 vegetable plate came out with 3 of the items different from my order (brown beans instead of a potato, et) so everyone else was done eating before my food came. Definitely won't be back. It would have been one thing if it was an off day and the manager wanted to make it right, but she obviously didn't care to. Try another place if you're visiting Winchester

Great restaurant on the Square. Always very lively. I love the atmosphere and the decor. Sitting upstairs I really enjoy the bar, and the wood floors. Good choices of drinks and beers. Standard mix of BBQ options, everything smoked in house, great smells through the place. Brisket was very good, their choices of sauce are good too. I really enjoy this place and can't wait to go back.
