Cozy spot, always crowded but the people are nice and friendly. The owner seems like a nice fella and the food is good every time I go there. I would definitely recommend.

FABULOUS FIND where the Flavorful Food & the Free-Flowing Fun are served up "Cheers" Style for EVERYONE! Whether any Guest is a Local OR a Local Wanna-Be, Double D's offers Hometown Hospitality! We are Frequent Flyers here & ALL the Reasons listed above make that Choice quite clear.

Took 4 of us almost 90 minutes. Food was good. Atmosphere is great. 1 more server/bartender for the entire place could be a bonus

We go to Double Ds every year when crabbing at least a couple times, it’s always fun. This year (Sept 2023) the fish and chips (not fries) were so spectacularly delicious I couldn’t even believe it, I’m still dreaming about the chips. The service was great but painful to see as there were 2 servers working the entire bar and restaurant. I can’t wait to go next year, I hope they have the same cook and more staff.

We had so much fun here on my boyfriend's birthday! Drinks, food and prices were great! Erin was an amazing server and we enjoyed her salty attitude :)) We will definitely return next time we're in town!

We come to Winchester bay annually for camping and fishing and this place was such a treat. Erin was a fabulous bartender and server and took care of the whole bar and restaurant, making everyone smile and laugh. The clam chowder was so fresh and the best i’ve had in Winchester. We will be back!

We love Double D's and go there every time we camp at the Winchester Bay RV park which is just a short drive away.
It is almost always packed and a little noisy, but we always sit in the bar.
Staff was friendly and checked on us often as we sat at the bar counter.
Pub steak, fish and chips, mozzarella sticks, and a salad were our meals. Steak was good, not the best ever, but pretty good. Fish and chips were VERY good. Both meals were more than enough to feed you and the price was pretty good as well.
I have had the lasagna on past visits, and it is VERY good as well.
