Vegan, nice and spicy food. When I come to visit Wilmington I always come here to eat. Never disappoints. Food is very affordable and healthy. A+

Maybe they had a day off because I have only been there once, but that was bad....
Slow and rude on taking orders, then they didn't give us a number, then they forgot that it was take out. It took 40 minutes to get our order and the servings for take out vs eating in are completely different. Take out is like miniature portions (they put the dishes in sauce containers). I waited a long time for very little food. My advise is get there before rush hour and eat it. Food was tasty, but not worth the price and leaving hungry.

The food is good but the lady taking orders is very lousy. Can't manage more than 5 orders at a time. First one to come in and the last one to get my order.
Updated my rating because an apology was due and not conveyed
Updated my rating again because food is truly Indian and balances the operational difficulties

The food here is very good, but I can not give it 5 stars because it is a vegetarian restaurant. I pop in here for a couple of samosas when I miss Indian food too much and don't have the time or facilities to cook it. BTW, naan is NOT vegetarian, and the do not serve it.

Wow. Completely different Indian cuisine than I am used to. Delicious. I got the UTTAPAM and the IDLI. Mmm. Served with an exceptional and warm lentil soup - warm as far as spicy-ness. Also served with an unbelievable coconut chutney. I have had none of these dishes before. They were all superb. Served with love and a very kind staff!

I gave 5 star couple of month ago because food was awesome especially for vegetarian. But from last two times it was not good. One time i ordered vada pav and kati roll. Kati roll was good but vada pav was not cooked properly. Today i ordered chhole bhature and it was horrible.

Hungry and want a quick bite? Craving for savory Indian snacks? Look no further. You've come to the right place. Great taste with a homemade touch. Highly recommended!

Masala Kitchen is a small spot that has big flavor. Everything seems to be made in-house, and everything is vegetarian, but doesn't lack in flavor or savoriness. They have 3 spice levels and will help you through the menu if needed, usually. They can get busy and are sometimes understaffed, but the food is worth the wait. The prices are very affordable. They have three or four tables with 4 seats and a very small high-top window bar area to sit at with about 4 tall seats. I recommend the veggie burger and the pair of Vada. Check out Groupon for deals for Masala Kitchen!
