We LOVE Brooklyn café! Beautiful, welcoming, relaxing, and delicious!! I am so happy they are dog friendly. The women working there that day we first went were so friendly to us, they were very patient with too when my family and I kept asking a lot of questions and didn’t know what to order. They showed us everything they had and were really nice to talk to! My family and I are now OBSESSED with their beignets and all the doughnuts - wow, everything was made fresh and extremely tasty! The coffee I ordered was great! Overall, this place made me feel really happy! We can’t wait to go back!

The food is amazing - so many drink options and the outside deck was so enjoyable to sit and talk - they even brought our food out there when it was ready and came to check on us. The beignets and banana balls were awesome but so is everything else! Highly highly recommend

Loved this little family run cafe. The service was outstanding and felt like family when I left. The quiche was to die for and keto friendly and everything was made fresh that morning. The coffee was great too. Super dog friendly and can't wait to go back!

We've added Brooklyn Cafe to our list of go-to places in Wilmington. Their breakfast and coffee are absolutely fantastic. The kids couldn't get enough of the fresh, homemade beignets, while my husband and I enjoyed delicious quiche, with a cup of coffee. Amazing donut and coffee shop in the heart of wilmington. The donuts are a depression era recipe using mashed potatoes, and are moist and fluffy while being hearty and strong at the same time. And the glaze is a treat, not too sticky but nice and sweet.
The latte was lovely and the owners and staff are all a delight to meet, everyone is genuinely nice people who love donuts and beignets, so maybe the best people?

Absolutely AMAZING! Went for the first time today and tried the vegan beignets and vegan donuts (vanilla and lemon). All of the vegan treats are made fresh but were prepared very quickly! We also ad an oat milk cappuccino. Everything tasted delicious and the staff was friendly and welcoming. They even gave us a pair of vegan donut holes dipped in chocolate as we were leaving! We will definitely be going back again soon!

First time here, stopped by for a meeting. I got the snickerdoodle and it was great! Great flavor, not too much coffee not too much syrup just the right blend!
I happen to meet the owner while waiting for my appt. Such a nice guy! But then again so was everyone there. I won't hold it against the owner that he is a orioles fan 🤣 The owner was friendly and welcoming. He's got some great baseball stories and some amazing pieces of history.
You stop in so many places and meet so many people and then come across a place like the Brooklyn Cafe. Where the people are really nice, have some amazing stories and the coffee is superb!
I can't wait till I have a reason to stop back in here! Hope to try more of the coffee and catch a chat with the owner again!

Stopped in this morning because I was looking for something closer to the flavor of a Malasada. They offered two flavors on the day I was there. I bought both the plain and the coconut filled version. The coconut filled version is excellent, not a strong coconut but a slight coconut that compliments the flavor of the doughnut really well. I had the Chai latte with coconut milk and the flavors were married together quite well.
While there I learned the history of the doughnut recipe and coffee. Ollie's coffee and donuts, named after the owners mother, use's recipes handed down through the owners family. The addition of a little potato makes a richer more satisfying donut that doesn't give you a sugar high. Ollie knew what she was doing and the owner does a great job with her recipes.
When you walk into the Brooklyn Cafe, you're welcomed by a quaint little interior that immediately says welcome home. Sit and stay for a while. They have games available, records that can be played and even dog friendly exterior seating. If you're looking for good conversation with people who love what they do, or just a fresh, homemade donut, you should stop here.
For those of you wondering, yes they do offer a few truly Vegan options too.

A great find! The staff is very welcoming and polite. Large coffee menu, I had the cold brew and give it 5 stars (iced coffee ice cubes too! 😍). The pastries all look amazing, but given the covid bod, I only got the cheddar jalapeño biscuit and the banana ball. Both were great, but the banana ball is ridiculously delicious. I will definitely go out of my way to stop here next time I'm in town.

This is the cutest cafe! The beignets were freshly made, the London Fog was amazing and the service was impeccable! Honestly, choosing what to eat was hard - those donuts look incredible. Definitely adding this one to my list of favorite hidden gems in Wilmington! ✨

Coffee is delicious and smells fantastic. And you must have their beignets. Sweet and yummy.

The beignets were unbelievable- SO good. I'd never had them before and absolutely loved them. The iced coffee used frozen coffee ice cubes, which I love. And the donuts are a family recipe and super yummy too!
I'm so excited to try the vegan options, it's nice to have that in the neighborhood. And the owners were so nice and made eating here such a fun experience! Will definitely be back!

What an amazing Coffee Shop! I enjoyed walking around the Brooklyn Arts District and stopping into this establishment. I loved how just outside the doors is a newspaper box that functions as a book exchange based on the honor system. This place has a sense of community. I've not yet tried the Beignets, but I will next time! I hear that they're Almost Famous!!
