I have seen a lot of hype about this restaurant on social media, so today, when we were downtown, we gave them a try. The Hype is legit. This restaurant is the real deal. We ordered the Fried Chicken with Green Beans and Fried Cabbage, as well as the Wilmywood Chicken Sandwich with Fries. The Fried Chicken is excellent. It is some of the best Fried Chicken I have ever tried. It was cooked perfectly, and the flavor was outstanding. It came with a breast, wing, thigh & leg. Every piece, regardless of dark or white meat, was juicy and delicious. (see pictures) The Fried Cabbage was cooked in what looked and tasted like bacon fat. It had small pieces of Bacon in it. It was mind-blowing and fantastic. The Green Beans were the best I have ever had. They had a very flavorful taste, like they are cooking them in a sauce or with some other vegetables. I don't know, but they are really damn good. The Wilmywood Chicken Sandwich was enormous, on a delicious bun & had perfectly cooked bacon on it. The chef obviously knows how to develop flavors. The location is lovely. It is right across from the Cape Fear River. We sat outside, and it was really nice. I believe our server's name was Wes, and he was outstanding. He was also assisted by a lady who also did a great job. This is one of the best restaurants in Wilmington. This Restaurant is a must-try if you visit or live in the area.

Amazing restaurant right inside the indoor shopping complex. Recommended to go by friend for their fried chicken lunches, but went for Sunday brunch instead and was amazed. Highly recommend the chicken and beignets, but can't go wrong with a classic chicken and waffle or bananas foster. Very filling servings for the price, and accommodating staff all around. Definitely looking forward to returning when next in Wilmington!

Let me just say that if you are craving some crispy and delicious fried chicken, THIS is the spot!! And the amount of food they give you, lets just say i had leftovers. The mac and cheese was phenomenal, and the potato salad was very good as well. And i can not forget about the fried green tomatoes they were amazing! And the cocktails were refreshing. I'm definitely going back in a few weeks when we visit again!!

Cute place to grab a bite and drink along the waterfront in Wilmington. The portions are very generous and we all had great meals. Bonus: The restaurant is located inside Chandler’s Warf, where they will validate parking for up to three hours in the adjacent lot. We will be back!

Great Service, Food and Drinks. We had nachos as an appetizer and they were really tasty and a generous portion too. I had the fried green tomato blt and my daughter had one of their signature chicken sandwiches. Both were delicious. The fried chicken tastes so good! We’ll definitely try again on our next visit to the Wilmington area.n

This was the best brunch food I’ve had in my life. We were seated quickly which was a pleasant surprise on a Sunday morning. I had the smothered hoop cheese biscuit with gravy and it was just heaven on a plate. Our waiter was super nice as well.

New Favorite Restaurant!!! Went with our friends and everyone’s food was spot on! I ordered the fried chicken beignets and wow, *insert chef’s kiss* we’ll definitely be returning. It’s a really nice set up with indoor and patio eating, and very close to the downtown scene. If you want some flavorful cooking with good atmosphere, this is the place to go!

We had a wonderful dinner!! Started with an appetizer (fried green tomatoes) which were delicious. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my mom got the friend chicken! Both entrees were SO good! Rachel our waitress was attentive and wonderful! Highly recommend!

Great niche restaurant in a prime location at the waterfront. Yes, parking is at a premium, as at all downtown areas, but they validate up to 3hrs. Menu is small but creative blend of favorites and food taste was delicious. Only one of three plates were served hot, melted pimento cheese wasn't melted but chunky cold... Wasn't bad but was a little disappointing. Staff corrected by replacing a plate.
