Review Tap Tea Bar - Wilmington

I wanted to give this place a 5 stars - but 2 things need to be changed first: 1. The prices are not listed anywhere - please add prices on either the papers or the tv screens 2. No Vietnamese coffee option If these are changed, I’d be happy to bump this up to a 5 star rating.

Love this place and I don't even like tea! I come here with my sister all the time but I just get decafe cause I don't want the tea flavor. The strawberry shortcake frostea is so good😍🤤 Great vibes and beautiful scenery🙌🏼

This is my favorite “fun drink” spot. I love both locations! The staff is so kind and always in a good mood, it’s a great place to go.

Absolutely love this place! I got my super cute boba gear and the best tea I’ve had in a minute ❤️🥰 we will definitely come back next time we are in Wilmington Edit- came back this year (2023) and I LOVE IT STILL

My husband and I are visiting for a business trip and stopped here twice. We’re both Asian and love our boba. First time was (12/8) evening and we were the only customers there. The lady at the register was SUPER nice and explained everything very well. I got a Tiger boba regular milk tea and my husband got one of their matcha frostea boba. The other lady who made our drinks was fast and got mine done before my husband made his choice. We both got the regular size since we didn’t know if we’d like it. Turned out we really loved it! The tapioca had a good taste and chewy texture. We loved it so much that we went again yesterday evening (12/9). However, this time we had a different experience. The place had a good amount of people there and the workers were different. The lady who took our order was very nice. I loved their tiger boba so much that I order a large this time. I knew the person who made it was different because it was completely different. The drink was extremely watered down, it tasted like I was drinking poorly flavored water. The amount of boba was little. Barely any brown sugar syrup on the sides. No ice. I was very disappointed. My husband had gotten their regular sized taro frostea. It was good but not the same consistency and quality as the matcha frostea he had gotten the night before. I seriously considered going back to ask for a new drink or a refund because of how bad mine was but they were so busy and I didn’t want to bother. If I had tried this place for the first time based on last night’s boba, I would’ve given this place 2/5 stars but since I had such a good experience the first time I decided to give it 4/5.

Wonderful tea bar with great atmosphere for casually hanging with friends! Best boba tea I have had in Wilmington. I'm not a huge fan of boba because I don't like the texture but the poppers are fun and the actual tea is great My go to order right now is: Thai tea flavor Black tea Tiger sugar drizzle No toppings

Friendly staff, quick taking and completing the order. Very nice atmosphere. The tea I ordered was good, I have to try other flavors to see if I find a favorite one.

Loved this place! I was so happy when my husband pulled in for one of my favorite drinks to surprise me.. It was perfect.

Visiting from Illinois (this is our second time in Wilmington) and I think this is the best Boba tea place thus far. I know northern and southern manners are different but I was thrown off that when I walked in (the 3x I went) no one says hello so you feel unwelcome. Other than that, beware you place your order on a mini menu they have on a bar style table and walk to the check out line with it in hand. The staff is nice and they smile once you reach the cash register (thus making you feel welcome THEN) . All 3x I got the classic milk tea with tapioca!

My kids love going here . We love tea and they have so many different flavors and drinks I just wish the refreshers were sweeter. I had asked them to make my refresher sweeter but was told they are unable to as its a set recipe and is syrup based, if that's the case why can't you add more of the flavor/syrup idk but overall it's a good place to stop in and grab a cold or hot drink tons of options. They also have a rewards program just use your phone number and download the clover app.

Unique atmosphere with all your favorite options as well as a changing menu of specialties. This is the coolest boba place I visited yet. Pricing was $6.50 for a large specialty Tiger Tea Boba. The one downside is having to order from a paper menu before checking out and it not having any pricing on it.

This place is really nice. The employees are super friendly and are very helpful if you are confused on what you are doing (I had no clue what I was doing). The teas were delicious and I definitely recommend everyone try this place!

We were in Wilmington for the day and me and my nephew have been trying different boba spots from jville to wilmington. we came in here and we did not know what to do ordering wise. we looked at the menu like any other location and went to the order corner. the worker was reading a book and just said "you need to go fill out the menu and bring it back over here" ...i had no idea what he was talking about. i found the menu and was confused did i have to fill one out for all four people with me.. where was the pen? so i brought the paper menus to the order desk to which the worker was still no help. it was honestly very stressful just to order 4 drinks lol but another worker came over who actually wanted to help and familiarized us with their process to which i let them know we had never been here before. we went back same day because they were actually really good just the service was wack at first and the ordering process weird if you havent been there before.. i got the thai tea and the lavender.
