I came here to try some Peruvian food and the atmosphere felt nice. Small and hidden place. Can get busy during lunch. I ordered the paella and lo mein, not sure if the paella was too salty or that’s just me. Lo mein was good enough nothing very special about it. Definitely recommend if you want something different.
We decided to come here during our day-trip to Wrightsville beach. Our usual Asian restaurant was packed so we opted for something similar but different. My family and I are huge fans of Peruvian Chicken.
It was a little disappointing to find out that they were completely out of chicken when we got there. (Hence the 4 stars) So I can’t leave a review regarding that, but I have to say that everything else we had was excellent. I had the Peruvian version of Paella and we had some calamari as well. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food just as well.
Service was prompt and great. The desserts are okay. The dulce de leche cannoli was pretty good.
A great food!
We were 6 people, all of us liked the food.
But they add 18% tip on the bill so u dont have to pay tip again.
One of the very few authentic Peruvian restaurants in town (if not the only). I have always enjoyed this. Owned by the same family that once ran the Golden Chicken in the same location. Rlm9st entrées run 10 to 20 dollars. Always large proportions. I have never left this place hungry. Lots of fries, yucca, and plantains to full you belly along flavourful sauces that you don't fin any where in town. I ordered the jumping chicken, and I prefer the chicken products over beef so far.
It is a great place to sit and enjoy meal with family. They have great services and clean seating area to eat. Mostly healthy choices on the menu. I will recommend to all.
Woow! Great food, great service. We’re definitively coming back🫡☺️
So delicious and authentic. 110% Peruvian approved. My family and I will definitely be making the 1 and half drive a lot more often just to eat here. One of the best Peruvian restaurants and one of the best restaurants, in general, on the East Coast. Love, love, love this place ❤❤
WOW! I have visited Peruvian restaurants everywhere I go and this is by far the best one I’ve ever had. The ceviche is spectacular, it’s fresh, I can feel the love in the food. The attention to detail is impeccable, I love how they left the big corn to be cooked instead of roasted, it adds that sweet bite while the small roasted corn gives the PERFECT amount of crunch. The pastries are TO DIE FOR!! I am not a sweet tooth type of person, I always skip that, but their pastries are so fresh and perfectly balanced! The Miloja was spectacular, probably the best one I’ve had in my life (it’s made the way it’s supposed to be, enough leafy crunch and just the right amount of caramel) Overall, the food, the service and the atmosphere is amazing. I will definitely return when I’m back in Wilmington!
Super good food, haven’t taken pictures either time I have visited, the food smell and taste so good that I always forget. Portions are very good, the only thing is the food is a bit pricey but compared to other places there worth it. 🙌🏽😎🙏🏽
Love this place! My favorites are the Peruvian Chicken LoMein (yep, not Chinese) and Chicken and Rice. Staff is nice, basic place, delicious food. We are now regulars.
