Had dinner here. Ordered the carnitas with corn tortillas. The order came out with flour tortillas but the server fixed that quickly. Taste was good. Also ordered the grilled shrimp that was delicious. Finished it off with an order of flan.
Wilmington has quite a variety of Mexican / Latin restaurants throughout town (throw in a food truck or 2) and Plaza Mariachi is one that seems to hide under the radar. My family and I have dined here on a few occasions but I haven't taken the time to write a review until today. Really not sure
I come here all the time and the service is always top tier and everyone is always extremely nice. Tried another mexican restraunt out here and hated it. This is my favorite spot!!

Phenomenal service every time - quicker than any other restaurant in the area. Drinks are admittedly hit or miss, but consider the jumbo marg!
A great Mexican food experience, more Americanized than other options in town, but a very tasty, cheesy time. Worth a try and give the Michelada a swing, it's spicy tomato-y and delicious.

This place is my boyfriend and I's go to when we eat out. You get so much food and for such a good price, and it's genuinely good. The staff is great and super quick with our orders too. Ramon is usually our waiter. He's amazing and is always super, super welcoming. Such a good place to dine out.
