Hidden gem in landfall shopping center. Went to dinner with my mom and bf. The atmosphere is nothing special but the food did not disappoint. This was our first time being here so I didn’t know what to expect when the dining room was empty (we did go at an unusual time for dinner super early and to late for lunch) We did wait a bit for the food but it was fresh and came out steaming hot which I never complain about. So much flavor and huge portions!

Big Thai has a peaceful atmosphere and very good food. I enjoyed the pad Thai. I have enjoyed good food both from takeout to dining in. I have tried a variety of different menu items. I have always enjoyed my dinner here. When i have gone, the employees have been friendly and knowledgeable.

Big Thai has a wide variety of healthy and amazingly fresh, delicious appetizers, main courses and deserts. All I have ordered I have thoroughly enjoyed! The staff is kind, prompt and knowledgeable. Presentation of food is beautiful and served quickly. With it comes an invitingly pleasant atmosphere, convenient location and simple parking. I would recommend Big Thai to anyone as a winning choice for lunch or dinner!

Food is amazing! Just wish the portions were a little bigger considering the price. Might decide to order in soon to see if the portions are a little bigger that way. Very tasty.

Big Thai’s taste is right in the name. BIG. What a wonderful spot for authentic Thai in the Wilmington area. If you are going to Wrightsville Beach, stop by and have some curry before spending a day in the sand. You will not regret it. Lucky to be adding this to my regular visit spot!

Ok I’ve got to say that I’ve had both the spicy coconut soup and the red curry before and both are phenomenal!!! Especially their spicy coconuts soup with the mushrooms and onions and I always add chicken. I will say it never is spicy at all to me so I will add a little sriracha or somber at home but wow the flavor is so addicting. Very much comfort food and great with a side of rice. Couldn’t recommend enough!! The cup is also a good size for lunch and only 7.50, add $5 for a bowl amount. Great price great food!

We've been getting takeout from here for several years and it's always prompt and the staff is friendly. The food is usually good, but occasionally a little skimpy on the vegetables. However, we just got the spicy coconut soup and yellow curry and both were delicious! Very flavorful, and generous portions.

I don't know why this place doesn't have a 5 star rating. Everything on the menu is delicious! I am very picky about Thai food. I could eat here every week. It's that good. Authentic, generous portions that I can't find anywhere else in Wilmington. Friendly staff, great service reasonably priced.

The service was polite and helpful, and the food was delicious. If you like a glass of wine with your dinner, the glasses were a generous pour. Thai cuisine is a good choice if you are on a gluten restricted diet as they use rice noodles and wrappers etc. They also use little or no dairy and have vegetarian entree so it is a good choice when you have friends with different diet requirements. I had meant to save room for a slice of coconut cake which I am told is wonderful there but I ate every bite of my Pad Thai because it was so good. I will try the cake next time.

First time. My husband and I shared the Chicken fried rice. The portion was enough for two. Very flavorful. Establishment clean, wait staff friendly. Good experience. We will make it one of our new favorites.

Fabulous Thai food and the best cake in town!!! It's a must go - I think we've tried most of the menu. Husband rates the basil clams a 10 out of 10 and I really like the ginger chicken with tons of fresh ginger!
