They have some of the best appetizers in town. I love the home made hummus with fresh baked pita bread, the pretzel bites are also great. You can't go wrong with their apps. Their main courses are also really good although the burgers are a bit on the greasy side. The beer is great and the out door (dog friendly) patio is huge. This is 1 of my favorite breweries in ILM.

We stopped by this place out of curiosity and were extremely pleased with everything- the servers and the outdoor area were great. The food was exceptional (I had the Dolly sandwich with chicken instead of beef- but has the option of doing a double patty or double chicken breast) was AMAZING! That will be my “go to” every time I come here. Do yourself a favor and try this place, you won’t be disappointed!

Loved this place! The waitstaff and management were very friendly and engaging. The beer and drink selection was dynamite and everyone enjoyed their food.
Good kids menu with large portions.
They brew their own beer but also offer additional beer options. They have a pretty deep cocktail menu as well; I really enjoyed my old fashioned.
Lots of indoor and outdoor space here and they were able to accommodate our large party.
Steph and Morgan were very engaging and I appreciate their service!
Also, they offer 32oz growlers...a perfect to go option that they'll attach the lid right in front of you.
It was a great spot to dine post-beach and I look forward to returning.

Great find, some of the best beer in Wilmington. Got a flight of five beers, we let bartender John pick the last of the five and it wound up being our favorite - the coffee ale. Potent at 9.2% ABV but delicious. Great outdoor space, didn't eat but food looked fantastic.

Great service, great food, overall good experience. We sat out on the deck and everything was spaced out well and the restaurant clearly was following COVID related guidelines accordingly. Everything was clean looking and the food was excellent. I had grouper fish tacos that were delicious with a dark stout that was great! Our server was friendly and pretty fast based on how busy it was for Sunday lunch time. I also got peel and eat shrimp (sorry for the unsatisfying after photo) I forgot to take the before as I simply devoured them. They were delicious! The whole experience was great, I would definitely go here to hangout with family and friends and just get beers, but it’s good to know they serve great food.

If you're in Wrightsville Beach you have to check out Watermans! They have great beers and absolutely amazing food. Enjoy both al fresco on their massive deck area or beer garden. Our server was TJ and he was fantastic. Made some great recommendations and was very attentive. Pet friendly for outside seating.

Went here for dinner after spending the day at the beach. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. I got a flight of beers and they were all good. We got the blackened tuna tacos and the fish and chips. The fish and chips was very good while the tuna tacos were good. Our waitress was very inattentive and would disappear for long periods of time. Overall good place that I would visit again.

We went for lunch to Waterman’s Brewing with our 10 month old. We arrived right at 11:30. We sat closer to the window and they brought us a high chair. The waitress was very attentive. My boyfriend got the The Eastwood with beef and a side of tater tots. I got the Fish Tacos. I loved the Fish Tacos, I haven’t had a good fish taco in a while! I was very pleased. I got a side of fries. The restaurant is very spacious with a big bar. The restaurant had high ceilings and some games as well. They had a large four square, Jenga and others. The bathroom was clean, there was no changing table however. We really liked the food, we will be back when we come back in town.

This is what I would consider a hidden gem. The food is fantastic, the staff is kind and efficient, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They're kid-friendly as well.
My family goes here all the time. Their Octoberfest is a great time. We've even rented their private Ohana room. They have never once ever disappointed us.
I can't say enough nice things about Waterman's. It's one of our favorite spots in town.

We ate here 3 times while vacationing in Wrightsville Beach. Some of the highlights include:
-the gumbo was so on point! A little spicy, authentic Cajun style
-tuna appetizer, super fresh and well prepared
-the rocket salad
-chicken posole
-tater tots
-the burger
-the chicken and biscuit (brunch) (get the heirloom tomatoes side - they are farmers market fresh)
As for the beer, I really like the ESB and the Porter. My husband liked the Soundside Pale Ale. Either way, get a flight and taste them all. Their brewer is doing some things right.

Great beer and my chicken salad sandwich was on point! Super fun atmosphere with cornhole out on front patio! Good music and variety of tvs for glancing to. Head brewer was mixing a batch as we were there and very personable and gracious! Recommend to ADD to the list of must do in Wilmington/ Wrightsville Beach area!

It's such a cool place to hang out. The place is neat, clean, and presentable.
Reasonably priced too.
We visited Waterman's on a Saturday night where they had live music, and a Labor Day celebration so the place was packed so we did have to wait a little while for a table. No worries, we were prepared for that.
Everyone seemed to be having a blast.
The food was Great!! The service was okay, I think our waitress was a bit overwhelmed with the many many customers.
The wine list was great, as I don't drink beer ... but my Boyfriend had one of their cider beers and loved it.
We even ended up buying a T-Shirt as a souvenir.
We WILL be back!

Great service. It was not crowded when I was there but it was early on a Wed. evening. I had the tuna sandwich and a side salad. The tuna was fresh and cooked perfect. The salad was a good portion and fresh as well. Beer was good. If i lived here i would be a regular.

Great beer and a nice atmosphere, staff is very friendly. They have awesome tot specialties on Tuesday, definitely worth checking. The Wings are terrific too. They have a cheerwine BBQ sauce that is AMAZing!!!

When you enter your greeted with complimentary Parking spaces, an inviting set of blue awnings, awesome patio and two tridents that leads you into the restaurant... Then it gets exciting!!! An alluring showcase of many large brewers just behind the viewing glass, fun waitresses, huge modern bar, and a family friendly restaurant that evokes California surfing with NC awesome beach vibes. Food was delicious! I had the shrimp and clam linguini with capers and fresh grated Parmesan with a flight of beers from the house. Outstanding and we will be back! I lived the Moonlit with chocolate rye imperial awesomessness. Keep up the great work Watermans Brewing! PS we Love our limited edition black t-shirt! Shaka 🤙
