There was no wait when we went, and the place was pretty full. Plenty of parking. There was definitely something on the menu for everyone: seafood, pasta, chicken, burgers/ sandwiches, salads, ribs, etc. The crab dip was excellent with toasted bread or crackers as your option for dipping. The shrimp wrap was also really good and the fries were fresh. Salads came with a honey drizzled croissant as well.
Service was very prompt and the place was definitely clean.
Good waiter. Nice that they have outdoor which accommodates smokers and non smokers and dogs in both areas.. Food was great. Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken with bread and a salad which has a buttery sweet roll.
We ordered take out for my mom's 61st birthday dinner and the food was Amazing!! The service was also excellent and they really went above & beyond to make her meal special. We ordered the spinach salad, cajun shrimp wrap with sweet potato fries, Kicked up nachos, and Debs chicken salad. Everything was soooo good. It was hot, fresh, and they had it ready quickly. Overall, we were very pleased and can't wait to order again soon. I highly recommend.
I absolutely loved everything about Rucker John's. I got the Island Chicken with wild rice and asparagus, so it was fairly healthy but was still delicious! I started with a basket of croissants and a side salad, which were both delicious as well. The salad was SOOO fresh. The food was excellent and the service was great. Will definitely be going back!
Very interesting place with a huge local following and local vibe. Food was delish and the service was on point. This was a random pic and I went solely to get some ribs as the pictures and reviews were really great. The ribs, while on the smaller side, did not disappoint, very nicely done. Flavor was a sweet rub that really was great. Just going on record, I have never seen a loaded baked potato come out with an extra bowl of load!!!! I love it, extra sour cream and cheese, I would go back for that in a heartbeat. Pure Awesomeness. My wife had the shrimp and grits and said they were on point, lots of flavor and the shrimp cooked great. The appetizer was fried mushrooms, which were great and seemed to be fresh. Great local beer selection and they actually had beer specials on a Saturday night, unheard of in this day and age.
Impossible to not love, been coming here for years and never once have I been let down. Tried various items from their menu and have always been blown away (Burgers, Ahi Tuna Salad, and their Chicken Tenders are always the best) Their Battered Shrimp & Chicken Tenders are unique to the regular fried options most places serve, and are just as delicious as they are unique.
Make sure to order a basket of Croissants to go! A killer deal and the perfect easy breakfast option the day after! All of their bread options including the complimentary Croissants that are given with most meals are always amazing.
First time trying this restaurant. We split a 16 oz prime rib. So hungry I forgot to get a picture.. it was excellent. -- cooked perfectly. Plus there was live music 🎶 in the bar area. Very enjoyable dining experience.
One the very best meals we've had. The hot bacon salad dressing deserves it's own day of the week!! And that honey butter croissant will make stand up & applaud the kitchen staff. We ordered the fried shrimp & fried chicken dinner platters. Both platters were huge! (I should have taken a picture). The batter is light & seasoned perfectly. We'll be snacking on leftovers later tonight. Our server Madison was a sweetheart. So glad we decided to try something new & different today. 100% Better choice than a familiar chain restaurant.
Great waitress and yummy food. Club sandwich was packed and bread was buttery and toasty. Fries could be crisper but hey, they're a side dish. My friend had a huge salad plate that she loved. Recommend!
Good food. Croissants were great. Regret not buying more to take home. Crab cakes were a little disappointing. Very flat and almost doughy. Everything else was great. Bacon honey mustard dressing is an unlikely combo...but delicious. Prices very reasonable. Our daughter said the chicken tenders were really good too!
