Huge burritos. As long as my hand. The only thing worth mentioning is that the Queso is like colored milk consistency, so any burritos with queso are very drippy.
We ordered a Fajita Burrito with Pork and a Island Jerk Burrito with Jerk Chicken. Very tasty.

I’ve eaten at islands numerous times and it’s been nothing short of a pleasant experience. However what really places them above most Mexican styled restaurants is the bar service. Wayne is by far the best bartender I have ever met he’s friendly and polite as well as professional and efficient in his customer service skills. Definitely a place to visit if you are in Wilmington!

Islands is always fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu from their favorites to custom the way you like it. Also the taco deal after 5 every day makes for a great cheap dinner for one or the family.

Love islands. You simply cannot beat dollar tacos after 5pm. Their food is fresh and very yummy, and it always hits the spot.

Stopped in for a quick bite during our beach trip. I got the chicken club quesadilla (sans bacon). It came with a side of tortilla chips which I didn't love, but the quesadilla was very good. The service was also very good. The tables and floor could have been cleaner and several booth benches were repaired with duct tape, hence the 3 stars for atmosphere. Overall, a decent experience. I'd return to try other menu items.

Their seasoning is inconsistent between visits, but all that means to me is that we keep coming! The food is great every time so I highly recommend visiting - ESPECIALLY on $1 taco night!

I loved how fresh the food was and how efficient the line moved! I was in town for a week and ate here 3 times. The $1 tacos are a hit and I love the fresh salsa bar. 4 tacos at $1 each plus a drink for less than $6!! You can't beat it!

Delicious food, plenty of options, friendly staff and very spacious. I visit Wrightsville Beach/Wilmington 3 times a year, Islands is a definite stop at least on once each trip.

We love living so close to this location. Staff is always friendly and great prices. My only criticism (the last few times) would be to take more time to spin the water out of the lettuce so it isn’t so “soupy”

Had a small issue with our meal. Sent an email to the staff after leaving and Aaron quickly addressed the issue and graciously refunded our money. Nobody is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, but service like this deserves 5-stars. Will definitely be back soon!
