First time and maybe last but there was one thing that would bring me back... the Fried Tofu, it was delicious! Otherwise, we went for Happy Hour around 5:30pm, some were not happy and said they won't be back. We were seated at a table that was in a round corner, it normally wouldn't have been an issue but it was cold by the window and the lighting was horrible. We asked the server to move us as soon as the table behind us was cleared, she wasted no time and took care of us. The Big Azz Margarita were ordered (same size as a tall water glass) and disappointment set in quickly because the alcohol was barely tasted. It was stated that they use premixed margaritas which I guess means the alcohol content is diluted. They each ordered a shot to give their margarita a boost but $17 later for only one drink, let's just say it was not a happy hour. Note: they don't have any happy hour food specials. In addition to the Fried Tofu, we order the Jersey Fries - they looked and tasted somewhat refried. The Crispy Shrimp Taco's were a big disappointment, it was said they tasted just as bad as they looked. The presentation of the Shrimp Mushroom Spinach Burrito was lackluster but otherwise tasted good. The Mad For Fall Bowl was tasty but it was missing items the menu stated was supposed to be in the bowl. And although the serving plate was hot the cheese had already began to get solid again. Our server (?) was pleasant, knowledgeable, and served us as quickly as possible since it got busier after 6:00pm. Needless to say, it was not a great dining experience but not the worst.

I went there to try the wings when they first opened at 11am. That's the best time to go since you know the cooks will take their time making the food. The waitress, Jalyesa, was so welcoming and friendly. When the food came out, I tried the chicken wings and they were juicy and flavorful! Absolutely loved it. And the waitress checked up on me often which is very good customer service. I highly recommend this place. It was clean, the food was great, and the servers were accommodating and respectful.

I've visited here a handful of times now and have always enjoyed my time. The service is not bad, my most recent server was fantastic. I usually go at odd times so I don't experience much of a wait, but their guac, salsas, chips, tacos, fajitas are all delicious. I'm not big on drinks, but they had a good selection of margaritas and other brews and cocktails from what I could tell. I enjoy the vibe of the place, dimly lit, intimate, chill (I noticed the music changed from upbeat Latin to something more relaxed). I always have a good time, highly recommend!

Went to Mad Mex for lunch and I will say this was the worst food experience I have had in a long time. The water was disgusting. It tasted like schuylkills best with a dash of lemon. The shrimp were very dark and greasy. The tacos were dripping oil. The fries were dark and everything tasted as if it was fried together. The sauce on the Buffalo wings was great. However the wings were undercooked. I would not recommend this restaurant.

This is a horrible place to work for. The older men who work here enjoy saying and doing inappropriate things to female coworkers. From "I'll wait until you're 18" to physically touching them when they say they don't want to. I've been working here for about a year, and this is a very dysfunctional restraunt. From glasses and silverware always being dirty to server stations being broken before I was employed , they still are to this day. I have also experienced working a double and servers who do, don't get any type of rest or lunch breaks. We are required to work like an animal for $5 per hour. Customers don't make this job any more enjoyable. Leaving no tips on tabs over $100. I heard of the company automatically adding gratuity in the future, but this has not happened. Servers have told me that they send in pictures of all their tabs without tips to the managers, but nothing changes. This company also thought it was a good idea to hire employees from their other locations, which closed down because of those exact same workers.

We've been to this location a number of times, because we appreciate vegan options & we love the decor of the restaurant. This time, the food was bland & the service sluggish at best. They have a very young crew. This was not a busy lunch hour, not even half capacity. Took forever for the appetizer & I got the feeling the lag was not our wait person's fault. She seemed frustrated. My burrito was huge, but bland. Only 5 small shrimp in the whole thing. Will try a different location next time.

The price was steep for wing sections. Inflation cannot do anything about it. Few wings was cooked too hard. They get four stars for past visits. Sauce (honey Chipotle) delicious blue cheese good also. No complaints on the Cob salad.

The salsa was bland and horrible tasting, we tried the original and requested a change to their smoked chipotle, when we didn't think it could get worse then original, we were wrong as it tasted so awful we each took one serving and almost gagged. The margaritas tasted as though they had zero alcohol We each ordered fajitas, the onions and peppers were cooked down and were borderline mushy . The tofu in the one order of fajitas was flavorless and disappointing. The reason I am giving 2 stars is because the steak of the fajitas was cooked perfect and the service was decent(despite the establishment being fairly empty the waitress was hard to find at times) We'd recommend going somewhere else as the food isn't worth the money.
