La Botte

We came here on a Friday night & they were quite understaffed (long wait to get the attention of staff and for food to arrive). The creamy pappardelle with sausage and Gorgonzola was tasty but the lasagne lacked flavour and body. We were recommended the entree size for the lasagne to share but it is quite small. Overall ok but would not be rushing to come back

i ordered a veal meal it was tiny and plus tasted like complete Shi*. it was as if it was boiled then thrown in lemonade mixed with oil i payed $27 and feel scammed. the manager was unremorsful and gave attitude. please if your going don't the food is not worth the money. Edit it’s been years and I’m still mad.

Worst Dining Experience I’ve ever had. This place is a disgrace to Italian food. The White Bait special seemed to have been reheated in a microwave- soggy, room temperature with no salt. The pizza honestly is something akin to a kebab shop pizza, only I would prefer the pizza from the kebab joint. Greasy with cheap toppings- not wood fired. Worse than the food is the service. After waiting 1.5hrs for mains we were told that we had to vacate the table for the next seating. We notified the waiter that we had not even been served our mains to which we were told that they had forgot to call our order. Nothing was comped and I stupidly paid the full amount for the meal just wanting to get the hell out of there. Throughout the night the service was poor with the head chef spending more time clearing tables and talking to wait staff than in the actual kitchen! Takeaway orders are constantly walking by your table and the front door constantly being open allowing a cold breeze in. Save your money and time going here- if you want good Italian drive 5 mins down the road to Motza.

I was looking forward very much to going to La Botte...it was a family favourite over the years...sadly it disappointed me...food was very average...l had fettuccine Putanesca quite gluggy and a bowl of salad which consisted of iceberg lettuce leaves... a couple of pieces of tomatoes and 2 olives...garlic bread was awful...very disappointing. It was like there was no imagination with any of the foods preparation. The service was okay...although not attentive. We were sitting outside and felt ignored as the evening progressed...disappointing all round...l invited a friend and was embarrassed as l remember how great La Botte was☹
