Waffle House

My experiences for this location depend on whose working. If Krampus Amber Anna and a few other employees are working, they understand the importance of customer service and hustle. My last visit, however, was terrible. The food was great. The cook was great. 4 employees left the shift with a new server and cook. We sat at a table for 40 min or more watching people ignore us after we asked if we could sit at a dirty booth. I was told yes. We sat there until everyone left a completely full restaurant. The cook noticed us just sitting in dirty dishes and asked if there was anything else we could do for you today? When he was able to see lots of dishes. I said we would like coffee and food. Shock /embarrassment/scrambling to clean table/ apologizing for the server ignored us even after being asked to help us. We live on the West side of CLE. This is the closest Waffle House. Even through all the employee changes/shortages and covid restrictions, we were never ever ignored. ❤️ this restaurant. We will always come back to this location. The staff just walking out the back after telling us to sit down is just a complete disregard. I am very upset 😡. The whole trip took 3 hrs. Normal hour and a half max. 😠😠😠

I'm originally from the south, where there are Waffle House locations on every other block and is a heartfelt staple. To have 1 here, and close is an added bonus for sure. The food was just what you'd expect from a Waffle House, so the 5 stars 🌟 come with that in mind. I didn't like that my hashbrowns were delivered and eaten by the time my Waffle and sausage came, but...ok. The service was good. I don't think we had 1 strict waitress because 2 people "tended" to us, but we never waited an inappropriate amount of time on refills, jelly, or our check. To me, that's a win The atmosphere is Waffle House atmosphere. I honestly don't know what else to say 😂
