There were 4 of us ladies last night 6/21/18 we were headed to see the Steve Eis Hunt show and this was the first restaurant we came to. My first impression was ....a little less clean than I would like but quite cozy nice pictures on the wall actually great pictures. A very nice waitress greated us as we sat down. Very friendly and all smiles greeted us as if we were old friends. All home cooked meals .one had the party melt which was outstanding on homemade bread.one has the chicken which that too was outstanding one has the country burger and it had lots of onion and mushrooms.statement was ....this is the best I have had in a restaurant. I myself am gf and the waitress did everything right to suede me in the right direction. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I choose the taco salad.she came back and said the chips were homemade and had flour in them. They just didn't put alot in the salad excellent btw highly recommend. So I'm review of this place I give it a five star because of the friendliness of it and the food was great. Not to mention price also very good.Thank you for a great experience.

The food and the people are always fantastic! I order Ellie’s Favorite Country Hash (large)with an order of Corn Beef Hash on top of it and then I have two eggs over easy on top of that. Get ready to live!

I love that you can get breakfast at noon! Had their delicious warm strawberry shortcake for dessert. Staff were very friendly. The place is small, reminded me of places in Europe. Not fancy, but cozy.

We were greeted by darling 8 year old Aubrey who delivered our beverages with a warm smile (she earned her tip!) before we enjoyed our steak, eggs, America fries, raisin toast, homemade jam & coffee .. delicious 😋 of course, we had to bring home a jar of sugar free strawberry rhubarb preserves!

Ellie's reminds me why I love Michigan. The food is better than expected. The staff made me feel at home and welcome, like I was in the home. The food tasted homemade...nothing fancy, just real food.

Tammy was so delightful. The place was suddenly full with only Tammy working front and Brian working the back and let me tell you... it was ALL amazing and delicious. Great food, FRESH baked biscuits and toast, and friendly service. What more can an outta town gal from the east coast wish for???

Great little hidden gem in downtown Williamston. One of the few real diners left. Clean, great staff. Went to wash up and my food was ready by the time I got back to my table. Great prices and selection. Worth the trip. Cool place.

I had to Olive Burger on the homemade bread Rye toasted my niece had the bacon burger on toasted white bread both of them were fresh and tasty. The the waitress was friendly and very attentive stop by our table several times asked if we needed anything else. Would eat here again prices on average under $10. Really

This down-home, family owned restaurant has been serving our community for years. The parents no longer are the owners as the son (Brian) has taken it over and poured a ton of money, time, and effort in it's remodel and updating appliances. A very humble man and a great cook! The bread is made in house and the ingredients are carefully sourced for quality and taste. That is evident in the Italian sausage served with breakfast. The coffee is mellow and satisfying. Do yourself a favor and order some food! Thank-you Brian for not giving up on this Hometown establishment!! 👏👏👏👏👏

What a gem. Exactly what I expect in a small restaurant/diner. Good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The bread is excellent, always breakfast specials, and a steady group of regulars. While not regulars, we are made to feel welcome. During the pandemic they limited hours, but in the "Old Days" ate the fish and chips and it was very good. Interesting decor. Family owned.

Our very favorite Williamston eatery. All the food is good but my most frequently ordered are the burgers. I tend to visit in the later morning and it is usually not very busy then. The staff are all so nice. I love everything about this place. If you're thinking about eating here, do it! I can't recommend it highly enough!
