Loved the food and hospitability. Three of us got the prime rib sandwich and it was awesome. Highly recommend it. One other got crab cake and ham platter which was good. Showed the 10% off app and don’t think we got it.

Nice restaurant with homey atmosphere. I had the prime rib which was excellent and my husband had the seafood combo which he says was very good as well. Our waiter Weston Wellington was awesome, personable and gave us great service. We will come back again when we're visiting this area. Highly recommend it!
We were there last week and will be going back next year. They have the best peanut soup I have ever tasted. The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly! Had a great time and recommend this place to everyone who's in the area.
I was in the area for the 4 of July for a week. We had our meals at the Jefferson every night,best food ,wonderful people. Looking forward to coming back. For our morning meal you got to try Mama Steves. truly enjoyed every thing I tried. The owner and staff treat you just like family.

My family and I were in the area visiting the historic sites and took a chance on eating here. Hubby liked the peanut soup. Was the best meal that I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Even the kids didn't complain and ate everything on their plates. Loved our waitress Georgia - she was friendly and always there before you knew you needed her. Highly, highly recommend eating here and can't wait to go back.
The food was great and the staff was even better. If you get a chance to meet Shepard, you'll have a lot of fun. But even if he's not in, you can't go wrong.
We just had dinner at The Jefferson Restaurant. Locally owned and operated. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed a visit with the owner about the history of the restaurant. Good home cooked meal. I highly recommend it
Just had dinner with my wife and kids at the Jefferson Restaurant. Such a cozy place, food was excellent and so was the service. Great portions of food, very reasonably priced.
Our family really love the dinner. My wife really appreciate the fact that it was a low volume of music (perfect volume) and family environment. Great food.

My mom, sister and I went for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. The food was outstanding, the service was spot on and the owner made us feel so welcome. This will be a return spot next time in the area. Thank you for a great birthday experience.
DEFINITELY RETURNING
We were the first to arrive to this restaurant around 245pm on April 3, 2022 which did not open until 3pm. A man which we later was told that he was owner of the restaurant came out to our car to greet me and my mom( it was mom's birthday). He advise us he was open and to come we did not have wait until 3pm. We walked in and atmosphere was nice and quite we were the only customers. The waitress that served us was Greek she has the most beautiful personality and was an absolute pleasure to talk too. We had red snapper fried, fried chicken and ribs. The food was delicious, hot and fresh chicken well seasoned. Please check them out it is worth the visit .
With the rose gold decorations surrounding the dining room, traditional attire worn by the waitresses and the conveniently placed bar, our night was more than expected. We felt under dressed and table etiquette was a must. With a late reservation, and I mean really late, our table was ready in less than 15mins despite a full dining room. We were served promptly, without a missed note and above all, the well placed plates were just as good as they looked. We will definitely return.

Visited with a large party of family a couple of weeks ago and had the BEST time! Great service, very generous pours from the bar, and yummy food! Especially loved the family-friendly vibe and the accommodations for one family member’s highly sensitive food allergies. Even got to have a nice chat with the owner at the end of our meal and can’t recommend highly enough!! Will definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

The fried chicken was perfect. The BBQ ribs absolutely delicious & the prime rib was the best my brother-in-law ever had! Staff were very friendly. Candace was our server & she was wonderful with my 5 year old & very attentive.
I got the Scandinavian Chicken and the wife got the country steak. The food was great. I’m not one to leave reviews unless the place just sucked but the food was great. I was very surprised since the place was not busy at all. The waitresses wore colonial attire and were very kid friendly.
