Tonight my husband and I took our birthday girl daughter to this restaurant. Loved the relaxing vibe; eclectic décor; simply amazing food; and our waitress was an absolute doll! The restaurant specializes in "small" plates of a variety of items which you are able to share. Tonight, we enjoyed homemade "everything" bread with a salted butter core; Moroccan meatballs; Jamaican meat pies; chicken and waffles with honey; Fried cheese curds with a chive dipping sauce; and Asian Raman soup with melt in your mouth shredded pork. Seriously, some of the best food we have had since moving to Williamsburg! This is a hidden gem and one we will definitely be going back to visit...still so many things on the menu that we want to try. Thank you for a wonderful meal and the delicious chocolate chip and walnut cookie ice cream sandwich.
We visited twice whilst in Williamsburg and loved this place. The food was fantastic and the concept of "little plates" allows you to taste a range of dishes; we liked every dish we tried. The staff were wonderful, warm, friendly and there is a great wine and beer list. The decor is quirky and so interesting - a must if you are in Williamsburg.
Had a super fun time at breakfast. My smash was terrific and beer selection was well thought out and on point. Our server was a delight.

Me and my boyfriend had our first night out I had my son in May , culture always caught my eye and had wanted to find a good tapas place since my favorite spot closed down. Everything from the atmosphere and decor to the quality and selection of the food was absolutely incredible. Food was out super quick, hot, and so tasty. We had the Moroccan meatballs, the deviled eggs with trout , the black bean sliders , and chicken&waffles at the end. Blown away by each dish. Brought us our check in an old book. So many interesting touches to add to the whole experience. Plan to become regulars
Lovely place, great atmosphere, unique decor. The small plate menu is fun and allows one to order several different items to share. Leave room for dessert- the warm flourless chocolate cake with ice cream is absolutely delicious!
This place is amazing! We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect. The food was delicious and everything was catered and presented above and beyond our expectations. Thank you to Jennifer and her staff for making the best night!
So much love for this place. Food was amazing - wood fired vegetable soup, tofu tacos, siracha brussel sprouts, veggie flatbread pizza, vegan chocolate pie. Deliciousness on steroids!! Cocktails made perfectly. Friendly service. And the love from Scott and Lou shows so big here!
I love everything about this place! From the amazing food, beer selection, coffees, and atmosphere, this has easily become my favorite spot in town to meet with friends or take an hour to myself.

Wow. Great place on the corner to eat! Wonderful atmosphere. Ate Friday, when they opened at noon. Not too crowded. Food was outstanding and delicious! I had the deviled eggs topped with smoked trout. Then I had bourbon beef tips. Oh my word! Yum and yum. Definitely try the Culture Cafe!
My new favorite place! This is such a fun and eclectic restaurant! I love their menu options and great service. My tiki cocktail was so fun! Definitely recommend!
As a fan of healthy food, I hit the nail on the head at this place. Quirky, colorful, and fun atmosphere.
The food was so flavorful and delicious!!
I got the Culture bowl, and my husband got Sirloin Beef tips.
So glad we tried it out.🥰🥰
What a wonderful lunch and experience today in this restaurant. I tried the Culture Impossible Burger (Plant-Based Burger, Vegan Mozzarella Cheese, Roasted Portobello Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, Spicy Mayo served with a Side Salad). I’m a lover of all food but a veggie based meal is typically not my 1st choice, BUT!! OMG it was so good!! On top of the ambiance & great tasting meal, the chef came out and had a chat with me just because along with our waitress. Both were so awesome!!! If the service is like this every time, you definitely have a new customer!! Word around town sez the brunch is something to experience too, so will be back.
Its a very decorated place. The food/coffee is good, not as tasty as it looks. But the vibe is amazing
UPDATE: - upgrade to 5 stars! Went back today for a full lunch,. GREAT food. Loved hearing they make their bread fresh each day! It was all delicious. Burger was amazing The food BOWLS are excellent. We were very happy As a cook/chef myself, it is very hard to eat out but I love the food and service here. Last time I had just a soup which was also excellent.
Take 2 was just as good as our 1st visit.
Take our advice: try the fried cheese curds.
And either There she a Rose or The Slice specialty coffees. Burger: everything a burger should be. And...now we have to go on a Saturday or Sunday, because that's when their brick fired oven is working (with bread for the sandwiches and pastries).
The food, staff, and atmosphere were great but the prices were too high for what we ordered. By the time I tipped the total for 2 people was $46 and we didn't purchase alcohol. My son had a meatball sub that was Indian inspired (can't recall name but it definitely had curry in it) and I had chicken and waffles. The waffle was very dense and the chicken was probably the best breaded chicken I've ever put in my mouth. The breading was very thin yet crispy and the chicken was cooked to perfection. For that reason alone I'm giving 4 stars.
