It was our 25th wedding anniversary. The waitress was fantastic. We had the butter poached chicken and it was so good. The staff surprised me and put a candle on my dessert plate for our anniversary. We will definitely be back.

Such a great place! The atmosphere of a colonial tavern with a hip modern vibe and great food! Jessica, if i can mention her by name, is fabulous. Knows the wine list, the menu, and how to make the whole experience great.
One of the best French Bistros I've been to. While the menu is seemingly limited, I could honestly eat here every time I have a chance. The food is presented beautifully. Everything is fresh. The wait staff is excellent. We mentioned that the day prior to our visit was my fiancee's birthday and when they brought put a dessert, they added a candle. It was very nice of them. Financially, I can't imagine finding such great bistro styled French food for any less. We definitely got our moneys worth and it was not what I would call "cheap".
Great food. Lively atmosphere. The very best liver and onions ever. Been there many times even though we don't live in town. Highly recommend.

My absolute favorite place, all of their food is delicious! I got the smoked salmon crêpes last time we went and they were amazing! Highly recommend!
The food was absolutely delicious!! My son said it was the best burger he has ever had in his life, macaroni and cheese was delicious. The Bistro does a lot of great things for the students at William and Mary, for example they have a night where the students can eat there for a certain price for a home cooked meal.
Awesome food. Great surprise for us as we just happened upon it while we walked by. The menu well thought out and our food was on point!
8 of us stopped there after a bike trip. The food was amazing their sweetbreads were scrumptious! I like calf liver... so I decided to order it. Never did I have it prepared in a marsalla souce, porcine mushrooms and bacon! It was incredible!! I will definitely make the 85 mile trip to go back for more!!! Yummooo!!! Everyone of us enjoyed their meal!!!

Came for a late lunch yesterday and was not disappointed! I had the French Dip and my friend had the Pot Roast and both were amazing! Generous portions and price point I felt was fair considering the portion, atmosphere, location. I also had the best creme brulee ever! Service was great, I apologize I don't remember her name but we were there around 4pm.
I will definitely be back! Hoping my daughter decides to attend W&M in 2018 so I really have an excuse to come!

Great location. You must try one of their absinth drinks and the aviation cocktail. Drinks are beautiful and strong! Food was amazing. Escargot was served in a delicious sauce without shells. Chicken & mushroom crepes, croque madame, the bistro burger, and the crème brûlée were delicious. The ambiance was very pleasant and my friends and I had so much fun. Server could have been more attentive, but overall amazing time. Highly recommended!
After a little visit to Williamsburg this past December we glanced at Blue Talon Bistro’s menu and added it our list of places we need to dine at! I am so glad we found this gem and that we dined here today! The charcuterie and pate board was amazing. Lovely sauces and meats to accompany all the pickled goodness! Then our waiter was great! Jared helped me from making the wrong choice. I wanted the mushroom pasta but he warned us of a strong cashew taste, so I went with the meatloaf, which was incredible!!! From the potatoes to the veggies, all delicious! Excellent service and a shout out to Jared for being a great waiter!!!

This place is amazing. The ambiance, service, and most of all the food. My clam chowder was so delicious, not thick and creamy like your typical stuff. Whole clams too. Got a Manhattan, which uses Copper Fox's (excellent local distillery) rye whiskey. The special Ruben was, WOW. They use kielbasa sausage instead of brisket!
The restrooms are beautiful too, something I always appreciate during travel and vacation. The wait is worth coming here!
Such great comfort food. The omelet, French toast, sooooo goooooood. I didn't think the French toast would fill me up, I WAS WRONG! Such thick pieces of toast, YUMMY. The Eggs were so fluffy and delicious. We shall be here again!
