Lochenheath Restaurant - Williamsburg - Photo album

Play it... From the tips!!! Great views and a tough; very tough challenge...great staff, small clubhouse but no waisted space, plenty to choose from with the LochenHeath logo... The restaurant is a solid 5 star, the food is some of the best I've ever had at a golf course... The outside patio vi
Very dynamic and perfectly maintained golf course - not a boring shot out there. What really made this 5 stars was the awesome, warm hospitality of Patrick in the pro shop, and Terry the head pro. We had just flown in and were pretty beat, so their pleasant demeanor and attentiveness to any need was
9/2020 - went for lunch on an early fall afternoon during the pandemic & ate outside. Good social distancing practices & great service. We both had Chef Eric's morel bisque, again (see a review from last year below), which continues to be awesome. Also had the heirloom tomato capresé salad - it too
Absolutely AMAZING!! Best course I have ever played in Michigan!! Amazing Top to bottom...club house, bar, restaurant...service!! They make you feel at home. Truly an amazing experience!!
I'm a little late it writing this review but it needs to written. The service at this restaurant was one of the best experiences I have yet had. Everything on the menu looked so good that I couldn't decide what to order. The chef came out and offered to make a seven course dinner with his choice of
We were able to play Lochenheath earlier this week through the courtesy of a member there. It was a great experience all around. The course itself is interesting and challenging without being brutal. Greens were top notch. The scenery is gorgeous as pretty much every hole offers a view of Grand
The food was phenomenal as was the service. The Chef visited our table and offered our 15 month old grapes, which are her favorite. We were very happy we chose to come here instead of eat at the resort we stayed at. We had crab cakes to start, filet mignon and scallops and a Caesar salad with steak.
Great conditions, fast greens, and friendly staff. Amazing public golf course with no two holes the same. Lives up to its ranking The downside- waited behind members who were so slow the 2 groups ahead of us formed into a 7some for the entire back nine. Could use a halfway house and more on course
Nice golf course. Course condition was excellent. Great practice facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. But...we never saw the cart girl after the fifth hole, and the last three water coolers were empty on a sultry summer day. It made for a long, hot and thirsty afternoon.
I play golf in Northern Michigan frequently and on our most recent trip, my friend and I heard about Lochenheath and decided to give it a try. We heard many great things about the course and we were certainly not disappointed! The course was awesome. Brutal greens that require precision, immacula
Had really good burgers on a Friday and went back for a nice brunch on Sunday, beautiful view of the bay and very friendly service.
From a course maintenance, layout, and natural beauty perspective, this is one of the best courses around. The reason for 4 stars is on course management. Our group was a foursome and spent the day with twosomes coming up behind us. We ended up letting 3 or 4 play through, which shouldn't have to
Golf here for 3 rounds. Very nice track with Little Traverse Bay dominating the views. Rolling hills add to vistas and playability. Also had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was great.
Have been on a little crusade playing Michigan's top public golf courses over the last 4 years and have played most in Lower Peninsula. Finally made it to LochenHeath this week. I'd put it in our top 3. Went exclusively for golf and was very impressed. Course, Practice Area, Scotland-atmosphere
Best course in traverse city area and most well maintained course ive ever played. Low scores are out there if we get some rain. Gorgeous views and the best food at any reataurant in michigan. This is the most underrated course ive played in the top 100 in the country. Was just rated the hardes
