My fajitas were delicious 😋 the Tostadas were a little thin and the broke apart easily. Other than that I would've gave it 5 stars 🌟

Always very nice greeters. Certain members of the wait staff need to pay more attention, and should check their tables more, but they certainly aren't bad. Great tasting food and quite reasonable prices. Definitely one of my favorite places in Wilkesboro!

So good! This place serves entrees so quickly I was surprised when ours came. They were hot and fresh and delicious. The sopapilla was to die for. And all of it for under $20! Will be returning!!

What a PILE of food! They are certainly not stingy here. The staff is nice, friendly and helpful. The menu is versatile and the atmosphere is "happy" (for lack of a better term). I plan on going back. It's possible to easily split a plate unless you want to take home some leftovers!

Good food. Good portions. Food tastes good. We're from L.A. visiting North Carolina. So we know good mexican food. Lol. And the price is AMAZING!!! Can't beat that.

Really liked this restaurant! Lots to choose from on the menu. I went with Mole Ranchero. So delicious! As always, the way the staff treat me is equally important, and the folks here were friendly and attentive. Will definitely return when back in the area.

Stopped here to meet with my brother who lives cross country, stayed longer than we typically would at a restaurant, and didn't feel rushed! We did leave a nice tip for the time there. Food was really good, and server was very nice and accommodating.

Monte De Rey is a wonderful restaurant. I've been going there for many years, and I love the food. However, I feel like they should put more effort into the appearance since That's what you see first. It's outdated and the bathrooms are in desperate need of repair. But their service is wonderful and they are always fun and friendly.
