Subway

Closed at 9PM. Didn't bother to post hours or update their own Google listing, which called out 11PM. Just submitted my own update. Got to the counter at 9:03 (according to the Sandwich Artist®), everything is still ready for sandwich prep, and "nope, can't make you a veggie cheese". Oh, and Popeye's, the only remaining option, was out of a list of food with a line waiting and 40 minutes to go. The lass at the counter was at least pleasantly sympathetic about it. I likely would be less grumpy about this if I hadn't been driving fifteen hours, with three to go...

Had two fabulous sandwiches, however, was disappointed that I could not get double meat on the Brisket sandwich even though I offered to pay for it. I was told they didn't have that option. The guy making the sandwiches was awesome and only repeating what he was told. That said it was a great experience.

Subway seriously needs to train their employees on sanitation practices. This is especially so when you are working with fresh food! This employee was about to serve me with gloves that flies had been landing on and while fixing my sandwich dropped the Mayo bottle on the floor and picked it up with the same gloves that he was preparing my sandwich with. Sometimes you have to think when doing your job.

Holy cow I just literally had the absolute best experience in this subway in the Wildwood welcome center. Can you believe she actually wrapped up my sandwich in two pieces instead of together so when I drive it doesn't make a huge mess. Ashley thank you so very much for the fantastic perfectly made my way sandwich. I left this shop smiling like a clown because you did your best to make my day better with your friendly service.
