As quintessential a seafood shack as you can get. Whatever they catch goes on the menu: yellowfin, mahi mahi, swordfish. You can’t get seafood any fresher. If the prized John Dory finds its way on the menu, stop what you’re doing and get there as fast as you can.
Easily the best place in Wildwood for off-the-boat fresh seafood. The u-peel shrimp and clams in butter/lemon/garlic are unbelievable. Some other places have broths that taste like a whole lot of nothing, and Hooked Up is definitely not one of those places. Will definitely be back to try their chowd
We had the flounder (one of the catch of the day) as sandwiches and taco and cold stone crab claws. It was delicious. I've been wanting to come here for years, after stopping in today I wish I came sooner. Food is phenomenal, no really if seafood is what you're looking for a stop here is a MUST. Fish is literally from boat to plate. Portions are very generous and the menu varies daily depending on what's caught. T
Bring some wine or beer! Great little place...order in the front and then grab a seat on their benches in the back next to the boats. Casual and many locals bring some wine and dine on this feast! My Queen has travelled the world and her Swordfish was the best she ever had.....my fish tacos AMAZING!
