Review Cattle 'n Clover Irish Pub And Steak House - Wildwood

First things first, the food was as delicious as it was big. And it was absolutely huge (I'm a pretty average sized guy, but I was completely famished and what you can see in the last picture is how much was left after I had been completely full) 🤣. My girlfriend and I have been trying out the restaurants around and nothing was as good as Cattle n Clover was. The vibe, the people, the music. Had a great time here, will definitely come again whenever we get the chance.

I cannot begin to express how much this place absolutely exceeded our expectations. It was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to try it out and I am SO happy that we did. The food? Out of this world. The service? Quick and friendly. The atmosphere? Decorated wonderfully with a mixture of Irish and Wildwood wall decor. When I say everything we ate here was amazing- that is an understatement. My boyfriend got the chicken fingers & fries and mozzarella sticks while I got the baked mac and cheese and French onion soup. When I’m craving macaroni and cheese (my favorite food) THIS is what I’m talking about. The servings are huge so we have enough for another big meal tomorrow as well. The soup was fantastic and the mozzarella sticks are HUGE. No joke, they’re gigantic. Our server, Shawn, was very kind as was the man at the bar when we entered. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Amazing food for a very good price. The portion are large, we had to take them to go because we couldn’t finish them. Also the place is really nice and cozy, not very crowded. It was perfect for us. Get a boot and order the famous pies. You won’t regret it.

Amazing gem in Wildwood. Our first time and won’t be the last. Irish pub with amazing service from the second you walk in door. Jimmy L was our server and he was fast, courteous and knowledgeable of the menu. Food was amazing from steak to shepherd’s pie to the pinneaple bbq salmon…even the kid’s Mac and cheese was something to write home about! If you’re looking for good food and reasonably priced, Cattle and Clover is a must!

Absolutely great experience! After calling about a dozen places to accommodate our group of 30 people to watch the USA women’s soccer game, these guys were happy to have us! John (the owner) was BEYOND accommodating! He brought out 2 huge refillable soda containers for all of the kids, they loved that! Offered to make us an appetizer sampler to hold us over until our meals came and it was awesome! Homemade mozzarella sticks are phenomenal!! The food was great and definitely got our money’s worth! I would give it 10/10!!

This is a great "hidden gem" in Wildwood. A fun pub with a good beer list, great food, friendly staff, and fun things to do (pool tables, live entertainment). My family had dinner here last night and we are so glad we did! Our waiter, Jimmy L, was so friendly and welcoming! My two young sons each ordered sides that weren't on the menu (a baked potato and a scrambled egg) but the kitchen accommodated them anyway (thank you!). The food tastes homemade and we all enjoyed our dishes (steak, burger, shepherd's pies). My husband and I got their shepherd's pie, and my 9 y/o son even tried a few bites. We all agreed it was the BEST shepherd's pie we've ever had. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I just visited this restaurant and I have to say that everything was absolutely delicious!! First, we had the corned beef egg rolls for an appetizer. The outside had a great crisp and everything was seasoned perfectly including the mashed potatoes the egg rolls sat on. My husband had the steak dinner with colcannon potatoes and I had the meatloaf dinner. Everything was delicious and on top of that every employee was so friendly! We will definitely be back!

We have been return customers to the cattle and clover on our vacations to wildwood for the past 3 years and everytime we have been blown away by the food. The chicken pot pie and Shepard pie have been especially delicious. The service is always fast and the staff are friendly. Our latest server, Jimmy, prompted us to post this review. His fun attitude and great service made the experience even better. We look forward to returning next year!

Absolutely amazing food! Make sure you go there with an empty stomach! The meatloaf meal was out of this world!

I was playing with a band for fireman's week. Before this show I have played the Cattle tons of time. Friendly staff and atmosphere. I always enjoy the food at the Cattle. I had a great time performing at the cattle. Handicap accessible.

This place is amazing all around! The food was absolutely amazing (shout out to José and Pedro!) and our server Jimmy was awesome. My dad has been looking for a corned beef and cabbage meal like that forever and we will definitely be back here on our next trip!

We really used to like this place. The mozzarella sticks are huge and so good except when they're over cooked and you politely ask them for some not quite so hard and they bring back some cooked the same way only colder. Disappointed completely

Hands down the absolute best corned beef and cabbage and meatloaf I've ever had that wasn't my own! Monstrous portions, more than reasonable prices and wonderful atmosphere! Will be back soon!

We had dinner last Friday night here. It was delicious. Large portions and excellent food. Irish Nachos and Shepherds Pie. Perfect together. Our server was Shawn. He is amazing. Great place to visit for a delicious Irish meal.

This is a nice little place in Wildwood!! A gem!!! Just had the best steak and meal of my life here with my Fiancee Kim.... We both did really.... And we have both been to many higher end steak places in an around Philly. Corey our waiter was AWESOME and attentive.. But not too much!!! This place is awesome will be back many times!!!

realllllllllllly disappointed our waitress spilled a drink all over the table (it was a accident) but everything got worse from there .. just to get another drink took a half hour then another half hour to take our order (the place was empty too!) then the food came wayyyyyy overcooked like it had been sitting back there for a long time under fire everything was burned to a crisp (party of four and not one of us had a decent plate- all burned and overcooked) to get a second round of drinks took another hour and another just to get our check! absolutely ridiculous! though i will say i loved the live band though it was empty when we went (so kind of no excuse for the inattentiveness of our waitress) and our waitress looked alot like sammy sweetheart from the jersey shore show those were the only two pluses which would give you a 1 star (your lucky yall got that!) maybe we came on a bad day for you all but it was a huge disappointment i wouldnt recommend anybody to go here after that!

The food was good but the service....ugh. I'm not much of a drinker but you could die of thirst waiting for a drink in here. The service, bar and waitstaff was taking forever and at 9:30 at night it was far from packed

This place was delicious! The wings were huge! They were also filled with flavor :) My favorite place for wing night is now Wildwood. Our waitress was delightful and the owner seemed awesome. He visited our table twice to make sure we were satisfied.

I was here last year and loved it so had to revisit this year. The food at best was ok. I got a burger and the bun was not toasted it was burnt to a crisp. I politely asked our server for a new bun and she agreed after seeing how bad mine was. Well by the time she got me a new bun which is say took 20 min my burger was cold. Won't revisit again next year.

Good draft choices. No on the Buffalo chicken meatballs but yes on the drum only wings. They are full size legs so it is a meal but they come embedded in the best mash potatoes I have ever had.

This as by far the best meal I have eaten in Wildwood! I have been coming down for 25 years and tried so many of the restaurants and was mainly dissatisfied. We had the deviled eggs as an appetizer, the hanger steak and filet mignon for entrees. They were all out of this world. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Drinks are awesome! They usually always have great entertainment... But their kitchen closes ridiculously early.. Even on weekends it closes at 1030, absurd! I've never heard of that. Otherwise its a cool place

We eat here probably 100 times during Season. Food is Fantastic. Service is Always Great. Only complaint.. They over stuff you with good food!

The decor and menu look great. Just wish the service and food would have matched. Very disappointed in the portions, taste, and overall service. We won't be back.
