Review Poppi's Brick Oven Pizza - Wildwood

The atmosphere was beautiful, part of why we chose this restaurant. Sitting out on the patio was lovely, I really enjoyed the lighting and decor. Calamari was delicious. Meals came out quickly and were fantastic. Good service. Our wine and cider from the local vineyard were delicious! We are so glad we came here

Great BYOB Italian restaurant in the heart of wildwood. Very spacious and clean. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Our waitress was very nice, attentive, and the service was fast! We got the bruschetta, calamari, and crispy rice balls for appetizers. All of our entrees came out fast and were delicious! The dessert was their turtle cheesecake that everyone loved. Definitely recommended if you’re wildwood. No reservations required.

At the end of June we hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Poppi's before going to Mudhen for welcome drinks. We cannot get over how wonderful it was. We worked with Ply to set up this dinner, and she went above and beyond. Poppi's is generally a very nice atmosphere and vibe but she went above and beyond to make it special with place settings, decorations, etc (see pictures). We had the "porch" and it was perfect. We had plenty of room for our 30 people and everyone had a great time. The food was DELICIOUS and we were able to separate out dishes for dietary restrictions (for example half the order with cheese and half without). The food was so so good and we were able to take the leftovers and use them throughout the weekend too!! As a plus, Poppi's is BYOB, so we brought in our own wine and they provided buckets of ice and servers to help us out with it. The space was perfect, the service wonderful, food delicious and we felt so incredibly special and welcomed. Thank you!!!

EXCELLENT! We got to enjoy an outstanding meal on a Sunday night just before the real Vaca season starts. Everyone from the hostess to the servers to the food runners were top notch. Our waitress was great very personable and friendly. I let her pick my pizza and while she felt some pressure she nailed the choice with the calabrese pizza which was perfect. Sooooooooooo good. Perfectly charred on the bottom and the sausage, peppers, onions and mushrooms were flavorful and the pizza has just the right amount of toppings. The salad with the pears, candied walnuts and honey glaze was delicious as well. Fresh and delicious. The house bread garlic and oil to start was very good as well. Thanks to everyone for a great meal. FYI to the owner our waitress was great she was very tall, blonde hair and worked outside on Sunday June 11! Give her kudos as well as the hostess and food runner!

Wonderful... their Truffle Fries are the Best!... but all their Antipasto & Small Plates are delicious. My Wife, THE Vegetarian, can select from the many yummy Pasta and Salad dishes... as well as their Personal "Designer" Pizzas! I prefer the Fresh Seafood options. The Outdoor Seating is light and airy, with the fans to keep you cool in the Summer and heaters to keep you warm in the Winter. I've fallen in love with their many Salad Entree options with low Weight Watcher Points... tasty & filling & only 6-10 points (including a piece of Italian Bread!).

Have ordered takeout from here before but never dined in- also we thought this place was more of a pizza shop with some other food. It’s so much more than that! Full menu and great atmosphere. The outside dining area is super cute with a lot of landscaping and a fire table. Service was great. Food was delicious! We had the nonnas meatballs, a chicken cutlet sandwich and I had cheese tortellini with veggies. We loved everything! We didn’t realize it’s byob but they do sell bottles of hawk haven vineyards and a can of cider if you didn’t bring your own. It was our favorite meal this trip and we’ll definitely be coming back.

decided to check out poppi on a sunday during a holiday weekend around 6pm. as a party of two we were seated immediately in their outdoor area. the decor was cute and inviting. the starter bread with garlic oil was okay, wish the bread was warm instead of cold. for entrees i had the cheese tortellini with veggies and my partner had the gnocchi in tomato sauce. the portion size of the gnocchi entree was smaller than expected and seemed to be more sauce than gnocchi but the flavor of the tomato sauce was fresh. the cheese tortellini portion was better. had the canolli for dessert and it was pretty big and had a good amount of filling. the plating of the dessert was cute. overall i probably would visit again if i was in the area to try one of their pizzas.

The food and service was delicious! Found this place from Google reviews and thought we would try it out while vacationing in Wildwood. Glad we did! The pizza is brick oven style and it was full of flavor! We were seated right away even though it was pretty crowded already. It's a byob place but we didn't know that beforehand so we just got regular drinks. The atmosphere is how I like it.. Not with bright lights all over the place but with a dimmer setting that sets a better dining mood. For appetizers we got the Rice Balls and Bruchetta.. Both were superb! We ordered the Margherita pizza, the Four Cheese pizza and that too was delicious! Now to the service... We had a waiter named "Fernando" and he was THE BEST. VERY personable and took care of everything we needed, including asking the kitchen to make us something that was not on the menu. His service was TOP NOTCH! Everyone in our party enjoyed it here! Poppi’s Brick Oven Pizza and Kitchen was exceptional. I’ll provide a lot of detail of our visit but I can cut to the chase and say this place was excellent. Today was our first visit to Poppi’s. We went in on a Saturday night around 8:30pm. We were immediately greeted and seated at a table. Our waiter came over a moment later to take our drink order. He bright some bread for us to munch on while we looked over the menu. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan platter and Linguini and Clam Sauce. The linguini and clam sauce was delicious. I elected for the white clam sauce. The portion was a good size and had a generous amount of fresh clams. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan entree and loved it. She let me sample a little. It tasted homemade. The sauce was really well balanced. Not too garlicky, with a good amount of mozzarella cheese. We also ordered a couple pizzas to go, because I have to try pizza everywhere I go. We ordered a pizza with mushrooms and a cheese pizza. Both were delicious. The sauce, cheese and toppings were fresh and tasty. The dough was great. It has enough chew, puff and char. Really good pizza. I only wished they made a bigger version. I felt like the price was fair for what we ordered and the quality of the food and service. I liked that they didn’t charge for refills. I highly recommend trying Poppi’s.

Poppi's is awesome, always make a point to stop in for lunch or dinner when we visit Wildwood/Cape May. The restaurant has a great vibe and all the employees are always so friendly. The food is fantastic! Extensive Appetizer list and great Neapolitan pizza. It always hits!

Poppis is our favorite BYOB in Wildwood. We grabbed some beers from MudHen and went for a pizza date. The food was delicious and our service was great. Our waitress Maile went above and beyond to make our experience great!

This place is awesome, they serve the best pizza around, they use top quality ingredients.We ordered the fried calamari, meatballs, rice balls mussels and bruschetta all were delicious. The service was impeccable. It’s an BYOB which is cool and there is a liquor store right on the corner. The staff was very efficient and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back soon.

5 stars for the Roast Pork Sandwich hands down. The broccoli rabe and long hots on the sandwich were delicious. Fries were nice and crispy as a side. The chicken ceasar salad was very good, only complaint was the croutons were a bit soggy. This order was take out so I cannot comment on service or atmosphere until next time...but there will definitely be a next time because I have to have that sandwich again!!

Service was really fast. Calamari and truffle fries were both delicious, but my sandwich was underseasoned and dry.

We just a wonderful dinner! Liam was a great server. We ordered the burrata appetizer which was phenomenal, chicken parm sandwich and the Bianca pizza. Everything was great. This is a must visit for us when we get down to Wildwood.

We decided to try this pizza restaurant last night and they were closing in a little while but they still were very hospitable and let us come and sit down. The pizza was delicious and the service was wonderful. I highly recommended

Great outdoor sanitized seating. Very beautiful. Staff was very sweet. Their ravioli was delish (loved their Alfredo sauce, and it did not have anchovies for us vegetarians). The mushroom pasta was also really good but the best was the margarita pizza. The reason i gave 4 stars was because the garlic bread was not upto the mark. It was a bit burnt on the top which compromised the taste. All in all, it was a good experience and i’d go here again!

Been a bit but last I had the scampi pizza and it was good and kept well. I live nearby so it is always welcoming and plenty of staff on hand if beinging in a crowd or popping in. To go go staff very good as well. Spot on. Dont think they allow dogs but seems friendly enough to breeze by or leash in hand and pick up to go. Even during the holidays when busy they made time to meet the demands which we like.

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Easy parking. Food was great! We sat outside in the garden area. Quiet and relaxing. Pizza was delicious. Broccoli rabe with sausage was great. The table bread was so fresh. Our server Irena was pleasant and did a wonderful job!

The food is to die for!!!! Have eaten there several times and Poppi’s is above and beyond a cozy, comfortable, fun and a delicious restaurant and I will say one of the best on the island which I have been traveling to and now reside every weekend for 45 years!!!!! You are able to dine outside in the cold on the Patio with the heat lamps and which is amazing!!!! The staff is on point with their service and I recommend Poppi’s to everyone!!!!

Absolutely unbelievable food. Great service which somehow made the experience better than best. Had the calabrese pizza- which from the pickiest eater in the group..” best pizza I’ve ever had”. I would rate this place even more stars if I could. Will certainly go back and recommend to everyone heading to wildwood!

This is one of the best places that I have been in all the years I have been coming to Wildwood. The meal was excellent also the the accommodations were great. The meal and service were super considering we were celebrating with family from Kentucky with 13 people. I would recommend it to everyone. Thanks for making our family dinner very memorable.

The food was very good but the service very lousy. We had to wait for 20 min for the waiter to approach us and ones we received our drinks, for bread we had to wait another 20 min, and they brought the bread only after brought to their attention. Def not going back.

Just a casual stop in for an early Saturday dinner and WOW..so delicious. Sweet accommodating staff, beautiful decor, very homey but inviting. As a restaurant...of course food most important!!!! Loved every bite...appetizers were huge and delish. Meal very very good and authentic Italian....NOT Italian American. I will return most definitely. Prices were just right...and BYOB so everyone drank whatever they liked and we totally concentrated on the food...starting with the most moist dense delicious Italian bread with an olive oil dip in which swam several cloves of roasted garlic...

First time there and very satisfied with the excellent food and very friendly staff. Our server was Amanda who went out of her way to accommodate us, even to wrap separately some of the food we took home. Large portions of food, reasonably priced and outstanding service.

Was there last night with the family and the place was mobbed. The staff was extremely friendly and very fast. The food was simply delightful... We WILL make this a regular stop 4 sure!

The food was good. Although, it’s yet another restaurant that doesn’t know what risotto is. They have tasty rice but it’s not risotto.

Everything about Poppi's is great. Fresh delicious food, family atmosphere, friendly staff. BYOB with liquor store next door. Fit in a family of 14, food came out together, piping hot. Highly recommend!

The calamari and truffle fries are a must. I had the truffle pizza which was buratta, pecorino and arugula... amazing! Definitely a must and the portions are big.
