We were blown away by the yummy breakfast we just had. I had the wedgie, but over home fries. The sweet little waitress didn't even raise an eyebrow when I asked for the potatoe switch. It was outrageously good. There was a creamy horseradish sauce over a cheesy egg concoctin which, as i said, topped a big heap of home fries. Honestly, if that sauce was served in a glass, I might be able to drink it. My son got the French toast. When we drove up, I recoumted to him that there was a surf side resturant back in the day, that his dad and I used to go to when we were dating and that they had the best french toast I ever had. Lo and behold, when I turned over the menu it was THE surf side. And, the French toast was just as good as I remembered. Jim got the whole wheat pancakes and they were very good. Positively, definitely a must return.

Get the green eggs & ham. Wow! The pesto is delicious; so flavorful. Also the homemade Italian sausage patty in the sausage sliders was outstanding. The waitress was very nice. Very clean & quick service. My daughter asked for something that wasn't on the menu & they accommodated her no problem. We'll definitely be back to try some of the other menu items like the fried potato pancakes & some of the special pancakes Mike the owner talked to us about. Mike, we can't wait to try the salted caramel beer pancakes! Amazing!

I eat here once or twice a summer. The food is always fantastic. The service is excellent. It’s a meticulously maintained diner in the style of a 50’s diner. Every time I’ve eaten here the owner has come out of the kitchen and checked that everything was satisfactory. I wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars.

This diner was super cute, like going back in time to a 60's type diner down the Jersey Shore. Food was great and the service was extraordinary! The owner even came out and said hello to everyone and asked how everyone 's food was. A definite stop for sure. Will definitely go back when I'm down the shore!

Been here a few yrs ago. Went again today. Food was good. Dishes we got said they came with home fries. They did but about 2 tablespoons worth. Also, none of the breakfasts come with beverages including coffee or tea. Cost $3.50 for coffee!!!! We will probably go again but get water with meal and grab coffee at Wawa on way home! $37.00 for breakfast is a bit much!

My family has been going to the Wildwoods since I was a kid. I have continued it with my family, but this past weekend was our first time here. Customer Service 100%, also having the cook come out and check on us as well, that was awesome. I honestly can't recall eating at any diner recently and having the cook also see how you're doing. We will definitely make this a tradition to come eat there every year we come to visit.

My family and I have eaten at Surf Side West multiple times and have tried different items and all were great tasting. I really enjoy their special pancakes that are seasonal- strawberry in the summer and pumpkin in the fall yumm. A well run family business with delicious food and great service.

I grew up going to the Surfside annually when visiting Wildwood with my parents. While we were heartbroken when they closed the restaurant, thankfully it was resurrected with the Surfside West, comprised of the same owners and many of the same staff. Now as an adult it is a requirement that I eat nearly all of my breakfasts at Surfside West whenever in Wildwood. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is kind and welcoming, and the breakfast dishes are all great. I'm especially fond of the Belgian waffles - skip the whipped cream and fruit, those things are just distractions from the rich flavor of the waffle itself. Many great, creative egg dishes on the menu as well!

Michael, the owner, and wife Jeanne, are the best hosts ever. I visit Wildwood once a year for a week and eat at Michael's EVERY DAY! The food is a real Jersey dinner (actually better). Order the pancakes or poached eggs!

I went to Wildwood for a few days back in September and I came across this diner when looking for a place for breakfast. This place has the most outstanding service I have ever had. Everyone is so warm and friendly that you don't feel like a tourist. I got the special which was the pumpkin pancakes....Best pancakes EVER!!! The next day I went back for the ricotta pancakes and they were as equally great. This place is phenomenal. I wish I wasn't three hours away....I would go everyday!!!

Surfside West is the nemesis of very other breakfast spot in Wildwood because their breakfast is so delicious and their service so superior that you don't want to eat anywhere else. I had the seasonal cherry pancakes and they were phenomenal. Another in my party had the crab manchego omelet, which came with a crispy potato ball on the side - divine. Don't miss out. I hear their top-notch pumpkin pancakes will be back for Labor Day.
